At 23000 miles both back tires were found to be bad, both tires have a single flat spot with one worn thru to the cord. Both flat spots were on the inside side of the tire making it hard to notice without jacking up the vehicle. Either the vehicle or the tires are defective. The dealer said it appeared the brakes had locked up. That does not make sense as the wear would of been across the tire not just the inside edge.

We bought our Nv200 in July brand new and today we noticed that both front tires are extremely worn with virtually no tread. The tire pressure was perfect. We've been reading online that this appears to be a systemic issue as there are dozens of complaints the tires are showing metal and worn out by 17,000 miles. Our drivers are at extreme risk.
Tires worn out prematurely under normal use. The vehicle has been rendered unsafe or to drive because of the abnormal tire wear patterns, loss of tread, chopped up, cords showing , etcetera.
Tires wear out extremely prematurely. One tire almost blew out because it had worn down to the cords because of the defective nature of these tires.
The tires on this vehicle wear extremely prematurely which causes the vehicle to swerve and steer very badly. The tires will make a roaring, bumping, and a wha wha wha sound I do not feel safe in this vehicle. The tires wear so very quickly, within 3-4 months. This is a van represented as a commercial van,it cannot meet the needs of commercial transportation. There needs to be a recall and Nissan needs to figure out what is causing the tires to wear so quickly. This is dangerous and consumers are unsafe due to this problem. It is going to cause an incident or deaths! someone please make Nissan figure out what is causing this problem and fix it so consumers are safe driving on the roads every day for their jobs.
I brought the vehicle to coastal Nissan dealer ship in norwell MA . I showed them my tires they had a certified technician inspect the tires . He reported back the tires are defective . He said a belt had let go inside the tire and the vehicle was unsafe for the road. The dealer ship told me they were not responsible for defective parts. I hope some one looks into this matter to prevent a person from getting a plow out on the highway. Thank you.
