One problem related to front suspension stabilizer bar has been reported for the 1996 Nissan Pathfinder. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
1. At around 120k miles the car began to sway, sometimes uncontrollably, at speeds around 50mph. Replaces shocks and struts. Did not fix it. Told I need to replace rear stabilizer bars and bushing. This is a very dangerous defect and very common.
