Two problems related to steering rack and pinion have been reported for the 1999 Nissan Pathfinder. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

Un-controllable steering wobble at 70 mph. Have taken it back to dealer twice, with only tires replaced. Found similar problems on a yahoo website, with customers that have contacted Nissan, that have received no fix for this problem.
