Nissan recalled the 2001 Pathfinder rear door (hatch) strut bracket replacement and it refused to service my Pathfinder 2001 saying my car was not on the recall list. My car's VIN number is jn8dr09y21w590303 and Nissan said it wasn't on the range of the cars affected by this recall and therefore they wouldn't fix it. I get the same rattling noise from the trunk door while driving and it's the same reason what the recall is for. As per Nissan this trunk door can fell off and cause serious injuries. . Read more...
