Failure Date: 10/05/2017

This vehicle was sold to me by an individual and it has so many problems it's unbelievable. Haven't been able to get it to pass emissions. Had the death wobble when I first got it. I'm extremely upset about this lemon I was. Sold. I'm a breast cancer patient and limited on income and I was really screwed over. Lost over 3000 dollars over this vehicle.

2 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 07/04/2014

My car was parked out in the street in front of the house by the mail box, when some guy backed up into my car pushing it about 4 ft back. Damaging the front fender, hood, and wheel. The steering wheel used to be straight now its turned half ways while driving, which I only went around the block cause I got too scared. But apparently driver has no insurance and hes on disability.

3 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 08/15/2013

My SUV wobbles when I go 50 mph. It feels like it's going to turn over I'm so scared when driving I try not to go over 40 mph. I live in bahrain, manama right now this was happening before I left washington, DC. I took it to get a alignment they said it was fine but when I drive and get over 50mph it still wobbles. When I was still in washington it did the same thing now I had it shipped to bahrain because I'm working here it's still doing it. I order two new back tires I will see if that help if not. Is there anything you can do. They have a Nissan dealership here if I took it there would you still be assessable?.

4 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 03/03/2010

I was on the frwy. And my Nissan Pathfinder started to wobble like, it was going to flip over. I was driving about 60-65 and was headed in a straight direction. I took my foot off of the accelerator and the wobble seemed to go away. I was on the frwy. So I sped up to the legal limit, and now I'm going around a curve and, the wobble was intense , it scared me me to death. Since, I have had the struts, shocks replaced twice. I've done a lot of research on this wobble. . . It is called the death wobble. . . It is a problem with the materials used making, the bushings in the rear suspension. Even when these bushings (the same material bushings) are replaced it can and will happen again. People driving around me when this wobble starts. . . They cannot get away from me fast enough. This is very expensive to repair especially, most mechanics do process of elimination, starting with shocks, tires, struts, upper and lower control arms, rear arm assembly, ball joints and wheel bearings need I say more. On ask. Com, the death wobble is well known. This needs to be investigated. This is the second Pathfinder I have owned , I purchase Nissan products because they are good for 2 to 300k. I love my Pathfinder , but I don't want to die in it or have an accident, killing anybody . The bushings need to be made of some other material so that this will quit happening. When all is stable, it starts all over again within a few thousand miles.

5 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 07/01/2007

The bose 6 disc changer is also giving me as well as hundreds of others the dreaded 'err 2' error and will not eject or play discs.

6 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 03/07/2005

2001 Nissan Pathfinder se had problems with air bags and seat equipment during a major accident. Prior to the accident, the consumer purchased an after market westin safari light bar, the installation of the bar caused the air bags not to deploy. It appeared the westin bar prevented the sensors behind the front bumper from being depressed in order to activate the air bags.

7 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 09/08/2004

My daughter's service engine check light keeps coming on. She has pulled over at the side of the road over and over due to this since we have told her it may be unsafe to continue driving. After doing extensive research, I find that thousands of 2001 Nissan Pathfinders have this problem. Mileage is very low when this occurs. I am taking it in again to have another "sensor" replaced but this does not seem to solve the problems and the car shakes badly. F hundred/thousands are having this problem with the 2001, why has there not been a recall? e spent 800 on tires because I was told it shook due to this, then they decided it was another sensor.

8 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 01/01/2001

Prior to buying vehicle, consumer expressed interest in a tether anchor, dealer stated that this part could be ordered and installed, however it took 2 weeks to complete consumer's request and consumer had to pay for it, consumer is angry because she feels all new vehicle should come equipped with the tether anchors.
