The service engine soon has been on and off for about 1 year on my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder (mileage is a little over 70,000). I take the car to a garage (delmar auto & radiator inc. , 90 adams street, delmar, NY 12054, 518-439-0311) on 8/1/08 to have it diagnosed ($144. 40) and the code says the oxygen sensor (p0140) needs replacement ($219. 37). The work is done and after about 80 miles the service engine soon comes back on. I take the car back to the garage (8/7/08) have it diagnosed ($144. 40) and the code says mass air flow signal is weak ($563. 00). The work is done and after about 20 miles the service engine soon comes back on. I call the garage (8/18/08) after they return from vacation and they will take the vehicle to a Nissan dealer and have the ecm reprogrammed at cost.
