Tl-the contact owns a 2009 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 40 mph, there was an abnormal noise coming from the front of the vehicle as the service engine warning indicator illuminated continuously. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that there was cross contamination with the radiator and the transmission and the radiator needed to be replaced. The vehicle was later taken to a dealer where is was confirmed that the radiator failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 101,000. Sg.
