I have a Nissan rouge 2008 with 58k, me and wife were driving in the mountains, between denver and dillon, colorado , when the car just suddenly stalled without any warning, car stop accelerating speed drop from 65 to 35 in 30 seconds we almost got hit by truck behinde us it took me 10 minutes to resume driving and 30 minute late that happen again and we had to pull over onto the shoulder of the road. After spending about an hour on the shoulder, it would resume driving normallyin . The dealer can't find problems.
This is the second time in three weeks this has happened. While driving the engine shut off due to running out of gas. The problem being that the gas gauge said I had over 1/4 tank of gas left. I had called the dealer to find out what could be wrong and I was told it may be the fuel sending unit or the actual gas gauge that's faulty. I've read that other individuals have been experiencing issues with the Nissan Rogue's gas gauge.
