Headlights problem #1

The headlights do not seem to be aimed correctly. I was told by the service department it was not a problem. When driving on a poorly lit highway late night or early morning, the headlights do no project far enough out to see the road and drive safely.

Brake Light problem #2

The contact owns a 2009 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while attempting to accelerate from a stop light, the vehicle failed to move and the vdc light illuminated. The contact mentioned that ten seconds later the vehicle began to slowly accelerate but only up to 15 mph. The problem recurred 7 times. The vehicle was taken to a dealer. The technician diagnosed that the stop light switch and brake lamp switch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 28,664.

Exterior Lighting problem #3

I was driving on a straight path on a city road about 35-40 mph hour around 7:30 est on a clear day. I had stopped at the red light and noticed smoke coming from under the hood so I pulled over and lifted the hood. The smoke was coming from the drivers side and when I looked in that direction I saw that my head lamp had fire coming from it. I placed water on it to put out the fire and there was a loud pop that immediately followed that sounded like a gun went off. I waited for my eardrums to calm down and waited to make sure no additional fire or smoke was coming from the car before approaching it.
