Seat Belt problem #1

The seat belt doesn't always lock when pulled all the way as it should.

Seat Belt problem #2

The airbags will not deploy on the passenger side of the car because of an air bag seat fault in the 2009 Rogue cars. The 2008 and 2010 Rogue models had the same problem but a recall was enforced on it. Nissan admitted the 2009 seat sensor was made by the same company but it was a VIN problem. Found on your site affected VIN numbers all start with jn8as58 including mine. We are all having this dangerous problem of the air bags being shut off automatically. Nissan wants 2000 dollars to repair the problem. This problem also passes the safety part of a nys vehicle inspection. I though air bags were put in the car to save lives, but is not considered a safety issue them not deploying. Please push for a recall before someone dies.

Seat Belt problem #3

The airbag sensor is defective in the 2009 Nissan Rogue just like the 2008 and 2010 Rogue. The airbag weight sensor in the passenger seat stays on disabling the passenger airbag to whom even sits there. It also leaves a flashing airbag light in the dashboard. Nissan is ware of the problem and makes you pay them to diagnose the problem at an hourly rate then charge you over $2000 to replace the seat like they did for the 2008 and 2010 models in a recall. The parts are the same in the 2009 model.

Seat Belt problem #4

I was advised by the dealer that the seatbelt sensor was not operative on the passenger side of my car. I believe this is a significant issue that may warrant a recall.

Seat Belt problem #5

The air bag light comes on . Vehicle was service at balise Nissan dealership to try to figure out what the problem was and see if they can fix it . All they did was reset the light and once we drove off dealership parking lot the light came back on like 10 min after .

Seat Belt problem #6

Takata recall. After the crash the airbag went out but not inflated. I was on a highway and because of a water bump the vehicle moves and crash with the highway division throwing the vehicle to the emergency lane and stoped inmediately. After that I removed very easy the airbag and walk away from the vehicle . Seatbelts locked.

Seat Belt problem #7

Driver side seat belt failure. . While driving the seat belt unlatches or trying to latch will take several pushes to have the latch engage. Purchased car used from a dealership was not told of this issue. Nissan did replace the seat belt but, cars should be completely safe prior to reselling these cars on any market.

Seat Belt problem #8

Nissan Rogue does not have seat belt sensors for the backseat. No way of knowing if child has unbuckled !!!.
