Car sputtered, lurched, and came to a stop on us 190 highway. It refused to start and appeared to be out of gas. However, there was still 1/2 tank and trip odometer agreed with the gauge. Car was towed to the dealer where the sole issue was found to be the mass air flow sensor, which is supposed to only affect the gas mileage. The total cost was $700. An economy device that can cause sudden failure is not acceptable. Something appears to be wrong with Nissans cpu code for this vehicle. No warning message appeared on the dash at any time.
