Frontal impact caused airbags to deploy except the passenger front (no passenger) and the passenger rear side (passenger present) . Nissan claims no deployment of side airbag is because no direct "t-bone" impact on passenger side of vehicle was sensed. Nissan also claims that the driver side airbag did properly because it sensed a potential rollover situation. Nissan was moving on city street and hit (t-boned) a truck pulling a heavy loaded trailer that ran a red light. Rear passenger side airbag should have deployed!.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer on three separate occasions and the technician informed that the air bag sensor needed to be reset. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred each time. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure and the vehicles year was included in NHTSA campaign number: 16v244000 (air bags). The failure mileage was 65,000.
We were driving and slide to side of road hit nothing and side airbags deployed the front airbags did'nt deploy hit nothing and had to be repaired 6,000 damage but no wreck I don't understand why the repair shop checked for recalls but none. I don;t think my insurance company shouild pay for a defected airbag . We hit nothing and there was no damage to car at all.
