2015 Nissan Rogue-consumer would like Nissan to replace the faulty transmission for 100% of the cost as is being done with other Nissan owners with the same transmission model even if the consumer is outside of the extended warranty by 8 months but 20,000 miles under the mileage limit that was set by the lawsuit. Check engine light illuminated at just over 70k miles with p1740 torque converter clutch solenoid inductive signature. The vehicle was taken for repair, and after inspection it was determined that the materials inside the transmission were deteriorating, damaging the bearings and causing fluid leakage and inadequate pressures in the transmission. This repair is costing almost $3000 and is well before standard expected maintenance schedules for the transmission.
