Upon starting the car the airbag, seatbelt light came on and will not go off.
I had been complaining about a knocking noise ever since I purchased my 2015 Nissan Rogue in March 2022. Even prior to officially purchasing this vehicle, I even paid texas Nissan to fully inspect it due to the knocking. Except for some minor wear and tear items discovered, texas Nissan gave the vehicle a good bill of health. So, I went ahead and purchased the vehicle from gtubbs Infiniti. However the knocking got louder and more consistent. In March 2023, February 2025 and may 2025, I returned the vehicle to texan Nissan to complain about the noise. On the later date, texas Nissan finally informs me of a sway bar being broken, contol arm bushing being torn, and they also "found excessive play on front driver side seat frame. " I have never notice this kind of vibration in the seat before. However, when I mentioned that the seat frame is under recall, sean burreal at texas Nissan, responded that my VIN did not qualify for the recall. I don't understand why the recall wouldnt apply to my vehicle since its affirmative that the defect exists on my vehicle per texas Nissan. (I have a video of the defect). This all seems so suspicious.
My 2015 Rogue and the issue that I have been experiencing with my drivers seat loose/ rocking while driving. I've done research and was told this is a common issue with 2015 models. I feel this is a safety concern that it moves while driving especially for myself or other. When a seat moves it changes the pressure you use with the pedals. This is a true safety concern and im not sure why this hasnt been addressed sooner. I'm very frustrated with this manufacturing issue and getting no help from the company or dealership. This issues has been verified by 3 different dealers/ autobody shops and numerous of research stating this is a common issue.
Front passenger seat airbag sensors failed. Airbag light continues to stay on. Dealer rest and sensors failed again several days later. Dealer estimated $6,000+ for repair.
Airbag warning light came on Nissan check the problem and stated the vehicle needs a left front seat back also stated airbags will not work until the part is replaced. ( airbag is defective).
Driver's seat shift backwards and forwards during hard acceleration or deceleration. Dealer says that they notice it but can't do anything except tighten the bolts, which doesn't make a difference. It seems to be a common problem, and it would be very distracting in a real emergency.
Passenger seat is intermittently not registering that someone is sitting in the seat. Airbag light flashes however dealership has no idea why. Invoice says "spiral cable had a open in the windings causing code to set" on going issues with airbag sensors.
I had my car serviced at a Nissan dealership service. The vehicle stayed their for at least a week. They did a job that requires taking out the battery, I got the vehicle the seat belt reminder chime is no longer working. I verified with the consumer affairs Nissan and they said that the repair is not covered under Nissan seat belt warranty. This is a safety issue and I believe it needs to be a recall. Thank you.
The driver's seat shifts with acceleration and braking. This is a known issue with 2014 models. Dealer states the frame needs replaced, not covered under warrantee. What will happen in the event of an accident? faulty seat frame cannot be safe. I have 43000 miles on my car.
Seat latch that moves seat up and down is broke doesn't work.
My drivers seat shifts when turning and and stopping vehicle. This also happened with my 2014 Rogue.
Issue with the front passenger seat on a 2015 Nissan Rogue. The issue is that a full-size adult (150 and 240 pounds) can be in the seat the passenger airbag indicator indicates the front passenger airbag is off. There is no airbag warning light on the dash. I've taken it to the Nissan dealership several times and the computer and airbag system has been flashed, but did not fix the problem. Since then the dealship has pushed me off, even with photos and evidence of this happening. I have threaten them with a lawsuit because they will not look further in to it, if the airbag does not deploy when a full-size adult is in the seat. I will be taking the vehicle to a different dealership this week, because this issue is continue to happen. I am currently an pursuing an electrical engineering degree at the university of south carolina and will continue to use their resources to I find someone who will resolve the issue. The only resolution for this issue, when it happens, is to park the car and turn it off, let it sit, and turn the car back on to see if the airbag light is on or not. The car has currently 43,068 miles and is still under warranty. Also all recalls and maintenance is completed at a Nissan dealership. I've also had issues with seat belt light in the dash says that someone is un-buckled while everyone in the vehicle is actually bucckled, and has been buckled.
1)when use defrost system window stays moist and does not clear until 30-60 mins causing it very difficult to see. 2)front driver's seat and passenger's seat is too close to console and scrubs against center console when moving seat back and forth. 3)vehicle smells of anti-freeze when enters vehicle. Also for auto to be a 4-cylinder it burns gas quickly. Because the center gear does not lock, it's too easy to mistakenly knock gear out of mode while driving I. E. Goes from drive to low or neutral without effort. Also just got an oil change at 10,000 miles, car has about 11,000 miles and computer alerting me that need oil change. I will be bringing vehicle to Nissan of garden city service dept on wed 8/26/15 and will request a complete thorough diagnostic of vehicle and will be prepared to leave vehicle until every thing is corrected in exchange for a loaner vehicle.
My Nissan Rogue has a vibration issue that is noticeable when the car is resting at a red light, and while driving. You can see the passenger chair vibrating and the dashbard is noticeable when my gps unit is mounted onto it. I took it to bayridge Nissan inc, in brooklyn, NY -this is the dealer that I purchased Rogue from , don't know if this problem is a safety defect . Dealership says no fix for it.
This complaint pertains 2015 Nissan Rogue sv trim with third-row seat. After using it for a few months, I have found that the design of the adjustment mechanism of third row seat is such that it can cause/aggravate back pain resulting from a regular use of the strap pull/push provided. This could be a serious issue for people with history of or those prone to back pain. I have brought this to the notice of Nissan but so far they have refused to get it objectively assessed.
