The contact's wife pulled over and upon inspection of the vehicle discovered that the sunroof had shattered into several pieces. The contact then slowly drove the vehicle to a dealer where it remained in their possession. The dealer was unable to officially diagnose the failure but speculated that outside elements such as heat may have caused the failure. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The contact stated that the front driver's side seat had failed to move as needed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that an unknown wiring harness was corroded due to the water leak and needed to be replaced. Additionally, the dealer determined that the sunroof needed to be repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided.
