Air bag light stays on. The OCS indicator in the drivers seat has malfunction.
Ocs passenger airbag light the dealer I bought from is stating no recall for my vehicle however, the NHTSA is stating that there is one.
Before the 3 year warranty on car ran out. When we brought car into dealership for oil changes and checkups we mentioned that passenger side airbag light was going on and off. Brought back into dealership after 3 years and asked them to repair passenger side air bag that was staying on constantly. . . The dealership said that they wanted at least $600 to repair or try to fix it and they said they had no record of our complaints listed for our car! left dealership with no work done due to we did not have funds for that. Took our car in 11/2022 to an auto repair service shop and they ran a diagnostic and recalaber on this problem. Nothing worked at the cost of $265. Was told by both places that passenger front side airbag could or could not work. . No way of telling unless air bags were deployed. Told to take back to dealership and have them do work. . . . . Like check wiring under seats etc. Do other Nissan Rogue owners have this same problem?.
The censor on the passenger air bag failed and my air bag light is on. My car has not been in a accident took it to the Nissan dealers in selma CA they quoted me over $1000. 00 I seen online that there is a recall on passenger air bags but when I looked up my VIN # it doesn't show but it the same part that was recalled can you please help me find out if this could be under warranty.
The air bag light on the dash stays on every time I drive & the passenger air bag light also always stays on indicating that the passenger air bag is off even with an adult sitting in the seat. Not sure if is an electrical issue with the wiring or an air bag sensor.
My passenger air bag light keeps coming on saying it's off and it's been happening for awhile now.
Takata recall: this involves a 2017 Nissan Rogue leased a bill siedle Nissan of miami. On November 15, 2017 while making a left turn the vehicle indicator light on the instrument panel ("Feb") turned on and the vehicle would not move. When this happened I noticed a cracking noise coming from the steering column. I took the vehicle to the dealer their personnel told me that the vehicle had been vandalized without them making any diagnostics. I told them that there was no indication of vandalism but they said they would not do anything to the vehicle until I contacted my auto insurance company (usaa). Usaa notified me that the vehicle my have an airbag recall to contact Nissan corporate office and/or search google for any complaints and/or problems related to the vehicle before considering filing an insurance claim regarding this matter.
