I was stationary at a red light, and car traveling behind me at full speed (approximately 50-60 mph) did not stop and crashed into my car (rear-ending me). My airbags did not deploy: not even the side airbags, even though the trunk was crashed/pushed up into the middle of the car, damaging the side supports between the front and back seats. Also, the driver's seat reclined fully upon impact! this car has electric adjustable seats, so the seat has a mechanized gear that faulted.
Driver seat moves back and forth while driving, speed control goes wild while driving, transmission does keep gear nor speed level . . Leaking out of motor while the car is turned off after driving for a couple of minutes. . Key jackknife is very week. . The safety issues of this vehicle is very scary wrote a letter to Nissan never hear back to to dealship and they were unable to help me. . Car still under extended warranty but no one wants to honor it. . Very sad. . Please help I can’t afford another car, can barely afford this one. .
My drivers seat moves, the back is breaking off of the bottom, as I drive the seat moves and is breaking. This is a big safety issue. I took it to Nissan and they want to charge me over $5000. 00 for parts to replace the finisher, the track/ frame and the seat back. This is a 2018 vehicle, driven by a small female, with 68,000 miles. This did not break, it is a defect, and Nissan should have to look at it and repair it. 2023 Rogues have a recall for exactify what is happening to my seat, I saw a recall for 2016 and 2014 Rogues for a seat issue as well. I believe my car has a safety defect and Nissan is not willing to help me.
Purchased a new 2018 Nissan Rogue. Purchased the Nissan gold warranty for 7 hrs and 100,000 miles. Recently the drivers seat came very loose and was moving all directions making driving dangerous. Took the vehicle to the Nissan dealer we purchased from for repair. They reported the seat frame’ s rivets had broken and failed. Then they informed us the problem was not under warranty. Cost to repair was to be 1,600 to replace the entire seat frame. The vehicle was less than 5 hrs old and mileage of 63k. Also I was told by Nissan personal that the problem was well known and a frequent safety concern, but Nissan corporation is refusing to repair or replace the seat frame, even under a very comprehensive extended warranty. I researched this type of complaint and yes it is a common problem that could lead to serious accidents. I am asking you to research this and order Nissan to fix the problems.
This is about driver seat making click noise under the seat whenever you break or start from a stop(accelerate from stopped position). The same click noise during driving if you break and accelerate. Its similar to noise if you click seat belt. Its something wrong going within the seat itself or seat assembly to the car's body. The seat railing itself looks good. When showed to dealer they saying some coins or objects stuck , but there are no objects stuck at railing. Found same complaints by many owners in the internet. I feel the seat may compromise on any sudden stop/break or if any accident. No other seats giving this click noise. No warning lamps on the dashboard.
I have had the seat (driver) replaced by Nissan when the seat moves when accelerating and stopping that was two years ago. Now the dealership supposedly replaced the seat with a new one and this is happening again where the seat does not lock in position from moving back and forth. When you accelerate the seat moves back and if you brake the seat moves forward. This is a safety issue where the driver could possibly be injured from the seating moving unexpectedly.
Passenger seat head rest wobbly. It may fall off if adjusted.
The front seat rocked so bad I had to hang on to the steering wheel when braking and turning. Again, a huge safety issue. After arguing with Nissan that this was a safety issue they replaced the frame under the drivers side seat and I paid a $100. 00 deductible. They said my extended warranty did not cover it, I really had to fight to get help on this. Safety issues should be covered no matter what, it's their fault. There's all kinds of complaints about this online. I should have complained a year ago to you but was unaware of the NHTSA. Sorry, I don't have documentation. Work was done at torre Nissan. 2069 79125, CA-111, la quinta, CA 92253.
My vehicle breaks by itself as I am driving when there is nothing in front of me and driver seat moves back and forth. There are other sensors coming on my vehicle from time to time.
I have had the vehicle in to the dealership for inspection of the driver seat which is cracking and snapping when making corners or turning. I was advised that Nissan does not have this part and is backorder until next year. This to me feels like this seat would not be stable in an accident since it has movement and not fully in place.
The drivers seat gets hot without turning on the heated seats also on the driver's side it gets extremly hot took it to rocking Nissan on 2 occasions and each time nothing changed.
Took my car to get oil changed. When I got back in my car and went to adjust my seat backward, it would not move. Tried moving it forward, also did not move. However, it moved up and down and the back of the seat moved. Went back into pep boys, they looked at it, said the motor was hot so they let it cool down some. Ultimately they came back to me saying I needed to take it to the dealership that it was some type of recall.

This vehicle was purchased new, has manual seats that after a few months started sinking on their own within a few hours of being set. It's unable to retain the set seat height for any extended period of time and forces the driver to keep pumping up the seat while driving or adjust rear mirrors to compensate.
Constant vibration on passenger seat that is visible to the naked eye whenever car is idle or stopped. Nissan dealership said it is "normal operational characteristic" of the car. I do not believe that it is. .
