The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start, causing the contact to jumpstart the vehicle. The contact had the vehicle towed to the dealer who stated that the alternator had failed. The vehicle had not been repaired. The contact stated that while reversing out of the driveway, the brakes erroneously activated, and vehicle independently stopped. The contact stated that the taillights would blink, and the radio would turn on independently. There were no warning lights. The contact took the vehicle to another dealer who diagnosed that there was an engine wiring harness that had been damaged by water, corrosion, and partly melted. The wiring harnesses needed to be replaced. The dealer informed the contact of the failure was also related to NHTSA campaign numbers: 21v957000 (fuel system, gasoline) and 21v068000 (fuel system, gasoline) however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made of the failure and confirmed that the VIN was not included. The approximate failure mileage was 63,000.

The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that the fueling system was leaking. There was an abnormal odor of fuel detected. While driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle lunged forward and stalled but restarted. The alternator warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 5,500.

The vehicle was towed to a local dealer where it was diagnosed with needing the fuel pump replaced. The vehicle was repaired. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA campaign number: 21v068000 (fuel system, gasoline) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and informed the contact that they were unable to assist. The failure mileage was approximately 3,300.
