The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving 30 mph, the vehicle lost motive power and decelerated. The accelerator pedal was depressed, but the vehicle failed to move before shutting down. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the failure was related to NHTSA campaign number 25v437000 (engine and engine cooling). The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with premature engine failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and confirmed there was no warranty coverage on the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.

2 Accelerator Pedal problem

Failure Date: 05/14/2023

The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving 30 mph and depressing the accelerator pedal, the accelerator pedal became stuck between the floor mat. After several minutes the vehicle operated as needed. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 28,511.
