The contact stated that while his wife was pulling into a parking space at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle unexpectedly accelerated and crashed into a brick wall. The front end of vehicle was damaged. The vehicle was towed. The contact's wife had soreness to the body and was managing the soreness with painkillers. The wife was eventually taken to the doctor for x-rays. A police report was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
