The contact stated that while his wife was driving at 30 mph just after a snowstorm, approaching an intersection, and attempting to slow the vehicle, the abs failed to prevent the brakes from locking, causing the vehicle to skid. As a result, the driver briefly lost control of the vehicle, which left the roadway and only came to a complete stop after colliding with a snowbank approximately 200 yards from the roadway.
