Wheel problem #1

I was looking at the fact that this car has 2 recalls for problems that I never bothered to check, but it's better to have everything in order. Everything is in order.

Wheel problem #2

I was backing out of a parking garage and I had the steering wheel turned while I was reversing so I could exit the lot. I heard a pop and put the car in drive to move forward and the car would not move. Once I put the car in park and exited the vehicle I could see that the left tire was no longer attached to the steering column and that the tire rod had snapped dislodging the front left tire from the system.

Wheel problem #3

Me and my partner were giving a car for her birthday I use it more for work they gave us title but lately I been experiencing hits in car that we haven’t done or crash anyone or anything and also air bag activation and other problems the one has me worry is that rpm loses gas power on free way can’t go over then 20 loses power.

Wheel problem #4

Spare tire provided with vehicle is incorrect size causing drive train issues which can lead to vehicle locking up and or becoming inoperable.

Wheel problem #5

Car had scheduled routine maintenance done on February 15, 2025 where tires were rotated and balanced. About a month later, the rear differential failed. Car only has 87,000 miles on it and was not driven in any excessive manner. Wheel bearings made noise for two days and then the differential failed before car was able to be seen by the repair shop. This is an example of a critical flaw in the differential and is extremely dangerous because it could have seized up while I was driving my daughter to preschool. Vehicle has inspection report from two different repair shops (one being the dealer) confirming failure of rear differential. No warning lamps, messages, or othe symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, only two days of noisy wheel bearings indicating they needed replacement. Nissan issued service bulletin ntb10-0291 regarding this problem but no recall has been ordered. When can I expect a recall?.

Wheel problem #6

My 2023 Nissan Rogue had recorded tread wear from 3 mm to 4 mm of tread left from my maintenance printouts I received from my dealer that started at around 16,000 miles (November 2024) despite having my vehicle serviced at a Nissan service facility as per the recommended maintenance schedule from Nissan motors. This was a potentially very dangerous situation with possible snow conditions that are associated with new england winters. My tires were also rotated on a regular basis as well as per the recommended maintenance schedule for my 2023 Nissan Rogue. The tires that came with my car orignally were the dunlop grandtrek. I waited as long as I could to purchase a new set of tires because they were costly and I didn't have the money. My total bill came out to around $1,300 which included a recommended four wheel drive wheel alignment.

Wheel problem #7

I was driving on the 60fwy east, close to 57 south but my lights ( engine and tire were on ),when suddenly I lost the control and I hit on the wall. The steering wheel was a little hard and the mechanic told me my catalyst wasn't good( engine and tire sensor aren't working correctly ). I thought it was my last day because that freeway is a little hight. I imaged my car flying. Also I have 1 accident . I crashed one car but it wasnt my blame. The car lost the control. Now I have to pay but it is expensive for me.

Wheel problem #8

At March 23rd, 2024, we have oil change on the car. The service sales came back to tell us that the front lower control arms' bushing is torn and needed repair immediately. Without repairing them, the wheels may disengage from the car. So we have them replaced, since losing the wheels during driving will cost our lives. This is for our safety. What can we do???!!! on conversation with the sales, he said this is a common phenomenon. Our problem on this is that, all the cars that we have owned, we never had the issue. This is the first time. Is this a common occurrence? we are not sure. And we simply can not understand why eight months ago during another oil change, this issue was not detected?! could this be a faulty component installed on the car, we questioned? we also contacted Nissan consumer affairs. Their specialist insisted our car is out of warranty. There is nothing they can do. Is this a responsible car manufacturer's response? at least, they should look in the issue and gave us a satisfying answer, we believed. Anyway, please look into this. On the parts that were replaced, dealership has them. We don't have them in our hand. Sorry about this. All and all, please look into the issue. We just want other Rogue owners spared of the issue! thank you for reading this and have a great day!.

Wheel problem #9

I have a 2021 Nissan Rogue and have had numerous problems with it since the purchase. My current problem is that the back hatch/trunk is leaking when it rains, water is coming through. The back hatch/trunk will also open and not stay open, it begins to automatically close unless you press the button so it will not close on you. The warning lights have also began coming on again stating that driving assistance is not available. I also lose power to the display screen on the inside and it goes dark. The Nissan place where I live is aware and I have an appointment on Tuesday of this month. I have asked them in the past about recalls on my vehicle and they state that my vehicle has no recalls, I have also checked the site and it states my VIN is not included in the recall even though I feel like I have had so many problems with this car. In the past, I have already had to have my alternator replaced and a new battery. This is my first experience owning a Nissan, in the past I had a Toyota and in the future I will go back to a Toyota. I will not own another Nissan, my experience has not been a good one with this vehicle.

Wheel problem #10

Right rear wheel bearing was bad. I was told at 66,000 miles, this was premature. This started approximately 3 weeks ago and was corrected today. I had to take it to two places before a diagnosis was made for loud driving noise and slight vibration. The wheel bearing could have locked up and caused a severe incident.

Wheel problem #11

VIN : 5n1at2mv7gc766843 phone number : 604-621-1143 name: asad qatlish email address: asadnassif18@gmail. Com incident: I have made a report earlier regarding my Nissan Rogue 2016 , the VIN is mentioned earlier. It’s been a safety issue driving the car as it becomes very hard to control ( loss of steering control) , loss of electrical features such as usb port , bad noise from the speakers when playing songs as there is a water drainage from the panorama roof ! the car been reported to abbotsford Nissan local dealership, spoke with Nissan also about the issue and no action was taken … as I’m a nurse , today I was driving to work , the car started to act weird while I was driving caused me to lose control while driving and there tire did hit the side of the road. . Causing it to be more misaligned. It's been reported to the local Nissan dealership as well as Nissan customer care that the car is unsafe to drive.

Wheel problem #12

The shoulder strap cuts across my neck. While I'm driving I have to take one hand off the steering wheel to push it down, only to have it slide right back up across my neck. Every time I hit a bump or pot hole, the strap cuts into my neck. There will be a serious injury if I'm in an accident. Also, the suspension is so bad on this car that I feel every bump, and pot hole, and my head keeps hitting the headset. I was told the headset cannot be adjusted. My passenger has long legs. The passenger seat will not go back any further so he sits with legs bent in cramped position. The visor when pulled down is right in my eyes. If I brake suddenly and my head goes forward, it hits my eyes. I will be seriously injured if in a car accident. On turns, especially if there's even a little water, the back wheels of this car skid.

Wheel problem #13

On 12/17/2022 I was driving 45 mph down a straight road. Suddenly the vehicle swerved left into oncoming traffic (so I was face to face with another vehicle), then swerved right very hard and then left again. My car was its two left tires only for a few seconds during this time. After it swerved across the lane 3 times, I was able to control the steering wheel again. I just missed the car in the opposing lane and my car was also heading towards a telephone poll before I regained the ability to control the car again. During this incident my steering wheel was straight the whole time and did not control the vehicle. I did not hit the brakes or acceleration for fear of a rollover because it was swerving so hard. There were no warning lights on the dashboard during this time or after the incident. About 3 minutes before this incident occurred, my car did something similar and swerved hard to the right while the steering wheel was straight and I did not have control of the steering for a few seconds. Mechanics in the area were called and mentioned that it could be the steering motor that could be failing but were unable to look at the vehicle. I had a mechanic come to my house and he said he could not find a error code on my vehicle's system. The car has not been driven since the incident.

Wheel problem #14

My windows :front driver and passenger; back left passenger does not go up or down, once speed is up to 50mph car gets a smokey smell no smoke or sparks visible.

Wheel problem #15

I bought Rogue on the 17th of sept, 2021. 5 days later something in front on passenger side made noise and my steering wheel went to the right. Mechanic said it was rack and pinion that came loose. It was 2 miles after I got off freeway. I could have killed someone! or myself.

Wheel problem #16

Vehicle is three years old. Never used the spare previously. Had a nail in the tire, so called Nissan care to come and change it. Nissan care arrived, used the spare that came with the vehicle and changed the tire. Immediately upon driving it, my wife heard weird noises, including grinding under her feet and grinding near the front right of the vehicle. Some knowledgeable car experts at her work told her she needs to get it checked out. She drove on it for less than 15 minutes before hearing a loud pop from the back, at which point the vehicle started smoking. She drove it to a nearby dealer. The dealer indicated the spare tire was not the same size as the others and because the vehicle has an intelligent all wheel drive system, this caused the rear differential to explode. Nissan ro # 6112906 is the reference number at martin Nissan in skokie, IL.

Wheel problem #17

The tires seemed to be faulty from the date of purchase of the vehicle. Within 3 weeks of ownership I had to replace one tire, at 6 weeks-repair a flat on another tire, and within 3 months replaced another tire (possibly two, can’t quite recall with all the issues this vehicle has had) and fixed another flat on the existing tires again. To date there are only 27,000 miles on the vehicle and the tires are well past needing replaced. However, they were terrible and extremely unsafe from the beginning. When I had inquired with the dealer, they stated that the manufacturer parts are not always top of the line unfortunately, same response with the battery, and suggested I replace with higher quality. These parts shouldn’t be unsafe or require replacement with safer, higher-quality, or better-performing ones from the manufacturer, especially not in a brand-new vehicle.

Wheel problem #18

Nissan subframe design is very unsafe. They have manufactured a common problem in añmost alll Nissan . , the front subfrane washers are hold in the subframe under pressure. , bad bad idea thats not safe . Tires and suspensin are subject to maximun vibration and hits by the road and those washers can not hold those impacts. . Time make look them fool, decadent ,unsafe because they come out of place one by one come out from the subframe . ,the result is lost of wheel control. ,. Trac system on . ,limb mode transmissiion actives . My car makes sudden pulls . . ,to right or left . . ,I must be very careful cars both sides of me not to hit them . ,the cost to repair this horrible manufactired problem border $2000 . , I must take all precautions necessary to avoid accidents on my only vehicle. And not hurt my family.

Wheel problem #19

While driving wheels locked up once with flash warning, one with sound warning. Happened twice within one week of each other. No obstructions in front of or behind me. Wheels locked up with no injuries. Took to dealer for diagnostic testing ($149. 00) with no findings/codes to explain locking of wheels.

Wheel problem #20

For over a year, I've had trouble with one of the tires losing air every few days. I'm thinking that perhaps it is the valve stem, but I'm not a mechanic. The other day, though, I was accelerating on a mountain road moving about 45/50 mph and the car stopped accelerating. It was as if it was in neutral and could no longer move. I had to have it towed back to my house, about 5 miles away. It still will not move when I put it in gear. I tried several times while waiting for the tow truck and a few times it would go into gear, but moved very slowly. When it moved about 5 ft, it would again act as if it were in neutral. The last time I tried, the mil light up and has not gone off. I just went and tried it again and took a video so you could hear that it is now whining louder than normal and when I put it in drive, it actually jerked and started rolling backward. It looks like I can't upload the video, though. I added pictures of what is lit up in the panel.

Wheel problem #21

I acquired a 2010 Nissan Rogue sl awd, with low mileage, in October 2019. In early October 2020 about 20 miles outside of washington, DC traveling from nc the vehicle began to violently shake. Of course this unnerved me. I stopped twice to visually and manually check the tire air pressure using a pressure gauge. No problem with the pressure. Once in DC I went to a service station/mechanic shop in maryland and had the mechanic check the problem. He checked the tire pressure and filled all tires with an additional 5 pounds of air (from 35 to 40) and stated that the wobbling would likely not cause any serious problem but the additional air should cured. The added air seemed to have worked. Within a couple of days I was back on the highway headed south. I realized the problem had not gone away. I determined that at low city speeds the problem did not present itself. The problem surfaces when at higher highway speeds, mostly when the brake is engaged. Since being back in concord, nc I have had my vehicle place on a lift, at a non-dealer shop, and checked. The mechanic drove my vehicle and could not find any other issues. He suggested that I purchase four new tires, citing that although there is still sufficient tread the tires may have an internal issue. I spoke to another mechanic who suggested that a tie rod may be the problem. On Thursday, November 12, 2020 I had plans to purchase new tires. After seeing the wsoc news of similar experiences of others, I will first take my vehicle to a Nissan dealer for evaluation and documentation. At this time I don't have any documentation to submit.

Wheel problem #22

This Nissan Rogue sport was involved in a high-impact crash August 30, 2020. The driver that struck our Rogue sport was exiting highway 635e in dallas, TX. Airbags failed to deploy. A police report is documented with the irving police department, TX dot crash id 17836976. 1 see also 11353459.

Wheel problem #23

While slowing down or turning, vehicle is making wearied broken popping noise from rear wheels or axle. I have requested the Nissan dealer to diagnose the issue, but they were unable to identify this issue since 3 weeks and then they called Nissan engineer for help but still they are also unable to identify the issue so Nissan engineer created engineering review request for this issue. Till now no update from the dealer or Nissan and there is no et for the fix.

Wheel problem #24

Vehicle begins to shake roughly when going 55mph or more. The wobble even made my seatbelts lock up. Seems to be coming from around the tires maybe the suspension. The suspension looks just fine, didnt seem loose, yet at highway speeds feels very dangerous! nothing noticeable while driving through town.

Wheel problem #25

The traction light blinks on and off randomly and the car slips/jerks on any turns. Also awd automatically comes on while driving on highway without any inclement weather or bad roads present.

Wheel problem #26

I recently got into to a car accident on , 9/15/2019. I hit a parked car in order to avoid an accident. I was not going no more than 10-15 miles per hour on a city street as I steered the car towards the right side to avoid an accident on the left side and my axle cracked. The police officer on the scene suggested I reach out to the manufacturer as he stated that the axle was not suppose to crack with such a minor incident. Per his suggestion I am writing to you.

Wheel problem #27

I am leasing a 2017 Nissan Rogue with 13,000 miles on my brand-new car. Back on March 8, 2019 my first tire blew so I replaced it. On July 9, 2019 my second tire blew out while driving on the highway. When I brought my tire in to be looked at I was told it was a tire malfunction so falken tire ended up reimbursing me for the new tire I had bought. On September 10, 2019 I brought my car into my Nissan dealership because my tire pressure light was on. I was told that my two factory tires on my car were leaking around the seams. Seeing that this is a dangerous situation, I contacted falken tire to let them know the situation. My first call to them concluded that they would cover all charges related to the tire; the new tire and labor cost. When I took my car in to get those two tires changed, the guy helping me called falken tire to make sure they would be picking up the bill and they claimed they had nothing on file regarding my situation. After multiple calls to falken tire I was told that they cannot change out my tires because there is no proof in front of them that these tires are faulty. After 2 blown tires and 2 tires leaking, they said there is nothing they can do to help me until an actual problem occurs. Who is going to take responsibility if an accident occurs and people are badly injured? falken tire will not take responsibility for their faulty tires until someone dies from the situation.

Wheel problem #28

My emergency brakes will automatically come on and seem to be having a digital issue.

Wheel problem #29

I only have 1700 miles on my new Rogue. I park in a garage at work and at home. I drove 10 miles in the snow from work to home and my car started shaking so bad I thought the wheels were going to fall off. I took it into the Nissan garage and they told me I have to keep the snow off the wheels and it wont shake. I have never had this problem before in driving 50 years and they are telling me this normal. This is not normal. I got an awd car so I could drive in the snow and now I am being told to keep the snow off my wheels.

Wheel problem #30

Hi, I have a 2013 Nissan Rogue. The tpms light came on while on the freeway. Its not going off even after adjusting the tire pressure to the correct value many times. I had the same issue when I purchased the vehicle, that time dealer adjusted it. Now the dealership is asking for $150 to rectify that.

Wheel problem #31

Purchased Nissan rouge new from dealership. Upon accruing 21,000 miles vehicle started shaking and vibrating all of a sudden while traveling down the interstate. Took vehicle to dealership and found out after investigation that there is foam inside the tire from manufacturer, to prevent road noise, that had come disengaged from the inner tire wall. I was unaware of foam being installed at the factory inside the tires to prevent road noise. I was charged by the dealership to for diagnostics to find out what was wrong with vehicle. This should have been covered under warranty for manufacture defect. Further more it is false advertising that consumers do not know that there is foam in factory tires to prevent road noise .

Wheel problem #32

There is a tpms recall however, my VIN isn't shown as affected even though the tpms light on my dash has been on for over a year. No notification from Nissan for my VIN. Just seems more than a little "odd" that it's a validated recall issue but mine isn't part of the recall.

Wheel problem #33

I was on the street driving up a hill and the malfunction light came on I looked it up in my manuel book it said do not drive take to dealer my car was purchased on Nov 23,2018 this happenned on December 10,2018. I had to call a tow truck they towed the vehicle and told me I cannot get a rental or loaner car untill Nissan determines it was not my fault, so after they finally looked at car and determined it was a fault of the manufacture this was on 12/16/2018 , I had been without a car for 6 days then they said my car would be done on the 17th and their was no need for me to get a loaner. Also the vehicle had a loud clunking noise when put in gear. They found that the radiator lower support bolts were loose. Every time I get in my vehicle after stopping for an hour or more the tire pressure is off on all four tires I need to fill with air on a daily basis. This is absurd.

Wheel problem #34

Axles - vehicle making a terrible sound while starting out - front end starting shaking. Location company inspected vehicle & found tired from both axles needed to be removed & axles needed greased on 02/05/18. Noise started 2 weeks prior to having the car inspected on 02/03/2018.

Wheel problem #35

The tire pressure light stays illuminated on the dashboard constantly even when tires are at the right pressure levels. Firestone in charlotte tested the tpms and isolated that the device is not reading/communicating with the central electronics portal that identifies any tire issues. This has been on-going for a few years, it was sporadic to begin with but is now a constant issue as showing low tire pressure.

Wheel problem #36

I have bridgestone ecopia h/l 422 plus tires (run flat) on my 2015 Nissan Rogue. At 21,696 miles all 4 tires needed to be replaced due to excessive wear. Because this seemed odd, I called bridgestone and the tires are not under warranty because they are made specifically for Nissan. Nissan does not guarantee the tires. It seems that tires that are just over 2 years old and under 23,000 miles should have more life. It is dangerous for my family and I would have never agreed to lease a car that had tires that were unsafe at such low milage.

Wheel problem #37

Takata recall the red air bag light keeps on flashing on the dashboard and the yellow light that says air bag off wont turn off.

Wheel problem #38

Frame cracked, cv axles keep un-aligning and thus causing the car to have issues accelerating.

Wheel problem #39

Front end vibrates.

Wheel problem #40

Ever since I purchased this car I have gone to the dealership on many occasions and came back without the problem being resolve and have to pay huge sums of money just for non diagnostic results very very frustrating.

Wheel problem #41

When is cold the engine every morning when started the engine it sound ugly like no oil lubrication and after 5 five minutes of running it goes to normal and wear 2front tires only totally I complain to the dealer and they say is normal the sound of the engine and regarding to the wear of front ties they say I need from whell aligment and balancing as well a tire rotation and I told them why if the vehicle was buyed brand new with o miles and this incident ocurre with less 10. 000 miles of use.

Wheel problem #42

I recently bought Rogue in December of 2016 & within a month or so I started feeling vibrations. I took it to dealer & they said the wheel balance was off they fixed it but the vibrations were still there. I can feel the vibrations during ride when on 25mph, 40mph & above, also during idling alot of vibrations and even braking causes vibrations, I complained to dealer they checked it & it was still vibrating & they said they cant do anything because Rogues are made this way. I then complained to Nissan north America & asked to buy back this vehicle since I dont feel I should keep driving a defective car they also denied my case. I dont know what to do now, I have a new born baby & its very hard to keep up with this, the reason I bought a new car was to not get involved in car problems but I have been in peril since I purchased this vehicle. Can you please assist me with how I am going to deal with this issue.

Wheel problem #43

On December 10, 2016 may son and I went to supercuts near louis henna blvd and ih35 north around 11:00 am, when I went to pull into a parking spaces, I slowed down from driving about 10 miles an hour, took my foot off of the accelerator, applied the brakes to park and the 2015 Nissan Rogue I was driving did not slow down, in fact it accelerated and threw vehicle up against a brick and morter pillar. Meanwhile I am still trying to stop the vehicle by braking and vehicle is in park. Vehicle after about 2 minutes stops acceleration and I cannot get vehicle out of park, I kept trying to get vehicle out of park to reverse it off of the curb. Finally after several attempts, I move into reverse to get car off of curb. The whole front end of my vehicle is crashed. There are pieces of my vehicle on the sidewalk in front of asian restaurant. Restaurant employee witnessed the whole thing and he comes out to see if we are okay. I checked to see if my son wichar cleveland is okay. The airbags did not deploy. I contacted elephant insurance. I don't see any fluids so I drive vehicle to service king, very slowly, a few blocks away. I called Nissan on Monday, they took my info said someone would contact me. Dehenry called next day, said Nissan is not liable. I requested they let me trade vehicle for a new one, I don't want to drive that vehicle nor should anyone else drive it. I also asked they pay for car rental, deductibles, towing or any of my expenses. Nissan informed me they could not send an investigator to look at vehicle until January 5, 2017 with no guarantees that Nissan would be liable. I researched the vehicle online and this has happened before to someone else yet Nissan has not done a recall. I guess they will when someone is killed!.

Wheel problem #44

My 2014 Nissan Rogue has dunlop st30 225/60r18 on it. The door tag from Nissan calls for 33 psi tire pressure for all tires. The dunlop website calls for 38 psi for all tires. Who's right?.

Wheel problem #45

When I turn to the left or the right my vehicle makes a popping and cracking noise sounds like the wheel is going to fall off. This car was brand new no mikes took it to the dealer was scared to drive it to north carolina the stated it was the struts and it would take 1 week before the part would be in and gave me a rental at nissn wesley chapel I took it on August 16th no one called me I returned on the 22 they stated this isn't the first car like this I called consumer report and they said they are aware of the situation after calling Nissan back but they assure me I can still drive the car I stated nope and the mechanic called me on the 23 and stated we called corporate or etc and someone will be out they don't have a time fame I told him they can take the car back and give me another vehicle I was called on the 8th and they stated the same thing they claimed to have replaced the struts or etc but after a week it make the same noise then I ask for another vehicle in which they offered but once I found a car they came back to tell me ooh you have no equity so they can't do it they was gonna buy my car and restart everything but they will buy my car for less and sorry but basically to do what I need to after stating I would do the lemon law I have a brand new car I purchased on the 6 not to mention we purchased 2 car from there within 2 weeks to be screwed with the Rogue.

Wheel problem #46

I bought my Nissan Rogue June 25, 2016 and two weeks after purchase it began to make a clicking noise at the front driver side wheel or steering wheel. I have taken it to the dealership where I purchased it but they cannot tell me what is wrong and they have stated that its a known problem with Nissan north America and that I will have to wait until Nissan north America gives them direction on how to fix it. I have contacted consumer's affairs and Nissan north America and am awaiting a call back from them as well. Every time I turn left or right there is a clicking noise which can be heard from the back and passenger side. The vehicle only had 800 miles on it when the noise started.

Wheel problem #49

Wheel problem #50

1. Nissan refuses to take any responsibility for using dunlop 7000a/s 225/55/18 tires on this vehicle which are dangerous in any condition besides dry road conditions these tires are inherently defective also filed complaint with goodyear tire which refuses to acknowledge any issues with this tire. 2. The traffic feature of the navigation system does not work. After 20 hours on the phone with siriusxm they advised me this is a Nissan issue. Nissan also refuses to take any action. 3. The radio turns on and off or the source of the media changes when you blow the horn also Nissan has no solution or fix for this problem.

Wheel problem #51

Dunlop tires appear to be extremely worn considering I bought this 2012 Nissan Rogue in January of 2013(just before retiring ) and my mileage is just under 18,000 as I average 6000miles year.

Wheel problem #52

I was driving down watt Ave. Toward folsom blvd in sacamento, CA. All of a sudden my left rear tire was flat. I immediately pulled over in a parking lot and called roadside service. The person who changed the tire inspected it and told me there was no puncture and that it just blew -tear on the sidewall. America's tire store inspected it and could find no objects in or outside the tire. Ats has taken pictures and I have also. They sent the pictures to hankook to ask for a credit and, to date, we have heard nothing from them. I have pictures that clearly show the tear and ats took pictures of the inside as well. I was present when they removed and inspected the tire and nothing was found. I believe the tire is defective and now I'm afraid the other tires are also. I have replaced the back tires with michelin and plan to replace the front tires soon. Ats has the defective tire at their shop at 2256 arden way, sacramento, CA. I also have the statement from the man who changed the tire.

Wheel problem #53

Notice a slight squeak from front left wheel/brake area that created some concern, then a few miles dwon the road and some start stop action, came a metal to metal grinding scenario, called auto nation Nissan immediately, id'd problem to service tech and I was advised bring unit in. Thinking maybe just a brake issue, I was informed that left front caliber brake system was locked up and has caused major wear on brake pads and then I was informed that rotors scared, brakes require replacement along with new calibers on front of unit. Only thing is brakes & rotors are not to be covered and I would have to pay for them. Why do I have for poor quality equipment that falls under recall status? but after seeing these recalls I will expect Nissan to repair or replace at no charge. To be more exact, my transmissions was replaced 2 months ago as well. I really like my Rogue but has been a money pit even with warranty. . . I drive as a road warrior for my job and now your unit is costing me money.

Wheel problem #54

My vehicle lost the ability to accelerate while I was driving on the highway on Wednesday. The car started to shake a bit and when the accelerator was pressed to the floor, the speed decreased to about 30mph and the engine sounded like an airplane taking off. The car eventually regained its ability to accelerate until I got off on the exit near my house and that is when the car lost acceleration again in the midst of oncoming traffic. This problem has occurred several times since I've had this car and each time I call the dealership they claim to not have heard of this ever happening. It even happened on a trip from TN to SC. This is a serious problem and is extremely dangerous when driving in heavy traffic on the interstate and congested city streets. I am nervous about taking the car on trips longer than 30-45 minutes long. There is also an issue where the tpms light comes on and stays on for days. When I have it checked out, I'm usually told that the air pressure is good and that the light is just malfunctioning. The local Nissan delearship denies having knowledge of this issue also and they want me to pay a ton of money for them to check it out.

Was driving north on interstate 75, atlanta, GA, when the front left tire certainly blew causing me to loose control of car and rear-ending the car in front of me. My car was a total loss as well as the auto I hit. Purchased this auto on June 25, 2013 with 8,283 miles. Noticed in July that the tire pressure warning light would come on and stay on for a day or two; so I had the car looked at on 2 occasions and was told that it something pertaining to the senor but it was ok because the light would go out on it own. The night of the accident the light was on and all of a certain I heard a load pop sound which was the tire blowing out and I loss control of the car causing the accident. When the market valuation report was ran on February 27, 2014 I learned that this vehicle had a recall issued by NHTSA 12v068000. I believe that was why the tire pressure warning light continued to come on for a few days then it would go off but the tires always had the same amount of air in each tire each time it was checked.

Driving on hwy, went to make left at light, the wheels locked and the car slid into a guardrail damaging the entire front of vehicle. I want to know if there is some sort of factory defect with the braking or steering system and if so what is my recourse to have this car exchanged or repaired. I've had it for 3 months - don't believe anything should be locking on it. This is dangerous for me and any passengers I may have. I need to know about this brand new now damaged car of mine. Thank you.

I was driving on a major highway, traveling in the third lane at 65 mph, when the tire pressure monitoring system light came on. I made my way to the breakdown lane and the clunking noise from a flat tire was obvious. The tire had blown out in the middle of the sidewall for no apparent reason. I had not hit anything or gone into a pothole. I purchased this vehicle brand new 6 months ago, and it had the original tires that were put on it in the factory. The car came with continental p215/70r16 tires. I brought it to the dealer who called continental and neither the dealership nor the tire manufacturer accepts any responsibility for this defective tire. I have done a google search and my story of having a blow out with a continental tire on a new car with very low mileage is not an unusual one. I'm concerned about driving now, and worry that I will have blow outs with the other three tires. I don't understand why continental is getting away with manufacturing unsafe tires when this is a known issue. It seems this is a consumer issue and a safety issue that warrants investigation.

Hello: my name is benjamin a wilson I am the proud owner of a 2011 Rogue with approximately 21,000 miles. But I have a very serious complaint since I have the owned the vehicle my fiance has had to take off to bring the car in for the tmps sensor unit nearly every other month since owning the vehicle. My concern is that this cost the factory on or about $200. 00 per visit. When the warranty elapse is Nissan saying this will be on me? is there a call back on this malfunction? is there a resolution to the problem or has the problem been addressed before someone is fatally injured? the dealer is saying this is a known problem but without an resolution. , just bring it in. But they are normally replacing the sensor unit each time. Your assistance mr. Benjamin wilson email: wilsonb18@yahoo. Com <mailto:email:%20%20wilsonb18@yahoo. Com> ; ben. Wilson@us. Army. Mil.
