One problem related to tank filler pipe and cap has been reported for the 1999 Nissan Sentra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Fuel filler metal flap became loose and fell into the fuel filler tube, causing an obstruction that prevents gasoline from flowing freely into the fuel tank when pumping. As a result gasoline overflows and spills from the fuel filler tube, potentially resulting in fire or personal.
