Electronic Stability Control problem #1

The car shut of while driving at 65 mph. The car restarted after 10 minutes drove about 2 miles and it shut of again. This time I called a mechanic and had the car towed to his shop. The mechanic indicated that it was a crankshaft and camshaft sensor issue. I have changed all other sensors on car. I was told that there was a recall on this car. I contacted Nissan at 1-800-647-7261 and was told that there was nothing that they could do. Please advise!!!!.

Electronic Stability Control problem #2

The car shut of while driving at 65 mph. Lucky it was late at night and I was able to coast the car to the shoulder. The car restarted after 10 minutes drove about 2 miles and it shut of again. This time I called my father and had the car towed home. The mechanic indicated that it was a crankshaft and camshaft sensor issue.

Electronic Stability Control problem #3

Vehicle "jerks" when under load & throttle is applied. Replaced 4 ignition coils, & throttle position sensor. No change in vehicle's performance. Vehicle will also not accelerate over 3000 rpm's. Mechanic said I needed to contact Nissan regarding applicable safety recall that was likely the problem, which I did. Nissan said there was no safety recalls applicable to my vehicle. I told mechanic this, & he insist's that there most certainly is.
