A second goodyear assurance tire size 205/55/r16 dot m60f ul1r 1614 has gone out in the past 5 days on my car with the same issue: belt breakage leading to tire separation and failure. The dealer replaced the tire under my road hazard warranty. The right front tire blew out 6/24/16 and now the left rear tire blew out 6/29/16. No injuries or crash involved.
2008 Nissan Sentra, traveling westbound in the left lane when the left rear tire blew. Unit #1 lost control and ran off the right side of the road. Unit #1 struck the ditch and overturned coming to final rest on its wheels. Bf (ohio traffic crash report # 10-0717-90). Updated 12/10/10.
