Subject: drivers are misled by the newer illuminated dashboards to think their headlights are on several times, I drove during the night and I was misled by the brightly lit dashboard into believing that my headlights are on. The fuse for the low beam 15 amp the driver side started to blow replaced one time, light would work after approx 2 days blew up again, replaced and started to burn a wire from the wires under the fuse box under the hood. I cannot pin point where the wire is burning and now the light is very dim and high beam is not working either, before only the low beam was the problem and I'm afraid it will catch fire. The car did not get wet as the car was parked for about three weeks after the first fuse replacement. The car was not moving as I was replacing the fuse.
