Not even 24hrs after purchasing the car, did my engine light come on. I then took the car to get the emissions test which failed twice. I was told the issue was the gas cap that was then replaced but the check engine light came on again and this time I was told this was due to a small leak in the evaporative system. Everytime I fill the tank up this light comes on and I get the message "fuel cap loose" but the cap has been replaced and tightened.
