While driving, I noticed smoke coming from the front of the vehicle. Within moments, flames appeared in the engine area and spread quickly, causing severe damage to the front portion of the car including the engine, electrical system, and body. No warning lamps, error messages, or unusual behavior were observed prior to the incident. The fire started suddenly without any indication of mechanical or electrical issues. My safety and the safety of others nearby were put at risk as the fire escalated rapidly. The problem has not been reproduced or inspected by the manufacturer or dealer yet, but the vehicle was completely disabled and is no longer operable due to the fire damage. Cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
Entire car needs repairs problems with starting.
Transmission failure in under 3 years. I replaced my transmission and rear assembly in 2022-23. It started with pressing the gas pedal and the car wouldn’t accelerate while in heavy traffic. I spent over $3,000 on a brand new engine. Come 2024 the exact same problem with the repair price being quoted at around $7,000. There was no hard driving on the car so I don’t understand how it’s going so soon. I’ve never had so much trouble with a car.
Slips when accerating.
My Nissan Sentra burst into flames on July 27,2022-not sure why this occurred; the car was last serviced before this incident on June 17, 2022-the car's compressor/ac were replaced. I had just parked the car at a hotel when the fire began. The only inspection was from a fire marshal and the insurance company that car was a complete loss. There was no warning when this happened and had I had a full tank of gasoline this would have gravely injured me. The car had seven years of meticulous upkeep so this catastrophe was totally unexpected. The autos parked on either side of me suffered serious damage as well.
Both rear running lights blew at the same time, so I bought new ones, plugged them jn for them to still not work. Heard there was a recall on other versions of my vehicle.
2014 Nissan Sentra -my abs system light came on failed inspection and had to be replaced. I had 32,322 miles on my car. I am 73 years old and for me to pay out over $1000,00 for a part that should not have failed according to the three certified mechanics. The light appeared the day I took it in to get my inspection sticker. This is so disheartening, to say the least. Other models have been recalled . . . My mechanic said it would be dangerous to drive it . . . I contacted Nissan and all they could say was it's not under warranty and they have no recalls on my year. If you could help or direct me how to get help I would greatly appreciate it.
Fuel pump failure at 75k miles. Resulted in vehicle sputtering, then stalling, dashboard lights going out and then turning back on with more than half a tank difference in the fuel reading, and then ran out of gas entirely. Brought to dealership who denied there being an open recalls on the vehicle ever, which is incorrect as I've already had to replace the transmission from a recall. The vehicle is completely unstable and is now also having problems holding brake fluid. Can't fill tank at the gas station either because refueling stops immediately every two seconds after turning on even if you physically hold it there. . . You continue to have to click it back on because the fuel is not accepted by the vehicle. This car should be recalled entirely. It is unsafe and has stranded me 3 times and repairs have been unreasonable. Nissan must take responsibility and issue recalls that will fix the issues free of charge. As of today I've been asked to invest another $3,000. 00 to fix it, but it's worth less than that now.
Was sitting in the car cleaning and listening to music not long after starting the radio kept going on and off and then wouldn't start but most lights came on the guy I bought the car off of said he was told it's the battery which he just replaced last year but after charging it a bit it started. But after doing further research apparently it's something to do with the terminals they use on this car draining and destroying the battery and that if it doesn't pop up in your recall shit then you have to replace it and have it fixed which is over $2000 the car isn't even worth that especially with the weak speakers and out of date cd player no bluetooth or reverse camera!.
Throttle body malfunctions after 85,000 miles. Loss of power.
The car revs high and does not accelerate properly. Also makes rattling noses when going over 55 mph. Transmission is slipping. Attempted to merge onto highway and vehicle did not get up to speed almost causing a collision.
All of a sudden for the past 2 days I have had an issue with the switch locking and want turn while parked(stationary). The stirring wheel never locked and warning light stays on for security alert. Today it want turn on at all.
The battery and transmission are failing, this car has been giving me issues since I purchased the vehicle. No one cares to help me and I've still been having issues with to this day.
I turned on my car in a parking structure and after a few seconds of driving my car begin jerking and suddenly turned off. The check engine light turned on. With a scan tool, I saw the I got codes for maf. I did some research and noticed that other cars are experiencing the same problem. I am upset because I continue having problems with my car. First I had the transmission prematurely go out and now I have a car that turns off when driving.

My car started with a lot of hesitation then it started to come to a complete stop and when it was time to pull from a red light it took time exhilarating to where I would only move a little bit and at a very slow speed. All of a sudden I couldn't get the car to move much at all without starting the car back up and getting just enough push to drive for 5 seconds I start out driving on a high way when it happened and made it to my sister house as I noticed it beginning to slow down and it became worst as I drove it to her house.
Car stalls when driving in the street or freeway takes a long time to reach 20 mph and doesn't go past that transmission makes a rattling noise on 09/01/2019 my transmission gave out and needed to have my car towed home.
While in motion my vehicle will start to accelerate and then slow down every so often. I could go to 20 mph and then my car will start to slow back down and I have to press the gas a couple of times to increase the acceleration back up. This happens anywhere on streets, highways, turning and in motion.
I was driving for about 15 miles- I came to a red light- vehicle stopped and the check engine light came on. Turned the ignition off and on - vehicle would move forward an inch and stop again. Vehicle was towed to the mechanic; mechanic said there is a recall and the system needs to be reprogrammed.
When driving the vehicle I noticed a noise while accelerating. When I turned the wheel while accelerating it got louder and struggled to move ive only had the vehicle for three years. I had called the dealer to ask about my warrenty. They had told me that I was over my milage. So then I took it to amco to get it serviced and I find out the transmission had issues spent 2800. One year later I'm having other issues with the transmission. I'm not the only complainting about this there are other vehicles having cvt issues. I cant afford to put more money into this vehicle. Almost done paying it off but having another issue I just want to get rid of this vehicle. Please help!!!.
