The contact owns a 2020 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that while her son was reversing from a driveway, a springfield public school bus crashed into the rear of the vehicle. There was no beeping sound from the camera alerting the driver of an oncoming vehicle. The camera screen was frozen. There were no reported injuries, air bag deployment or fire. A police report was filed. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.
