Warnings problem #1

1) within three months of vehicle purchase (and in perpetuity to-date ever since), the infotainment system intermittently causes static/crackling when connected to carplay. 2) within six months of initial purchase (and in perpetuity to-date ever since), also between each subsequent biannual oil change, electronic system would randomly notify that there was a malfunction with rear collision sensors or front collision sensors. Diagnostics being ran each time found no issues. Dealership workers suggested that it may have to do with the sensors being blocked by light, and that diagnostics found no resolve. 3) may 15, 2026, 3 years and 3 months after purchase, the vehicle suddenly wouldn’t start. I was able to drive home from work, and two hours later when I went to start the vehicle, it would click as if the electrical system was connecting online, but not detecting that I was pressing the brake pedal to turn the vehicle on. All interior lights were operational and stayed lit, suggesting that it likely wasn’t an issue with the battery itself or the starter itself… but potentially a connection issue between the starter and the mechanism that turns the engine. If this issue is also electrical, it suggests that the other intermittent issues may be related - warning signs that it would eventually cause the vehicle to be non-starting. As far as safety concerns with the issue, as it presented itself, not being able to detect vehicles with electronic malfunctions periodically can cause issues while driving; infotainment system failure can make any emergency calls requires a non-starter; and lastly, not being able to start the vehicle could lead to being stranded. 70+ complaints have already been issued regarding electronics specifically. It is noteworthy that I’ve also experienced issues with the cvt as it’s been described by other drivers, namely, that from what I’ve noticed, rpms fluctuate widely when trying to accelerate between 30-40 and 50+ mph.

Warnings problem #2

There are issues with the sensors. Specifically, the collision sensors. I have owned a 2022 Nissan Sentra for a few months now and multiple times have had the traction control malfunction warning, front collision sensor malfunction warning, and back collision sensor malfunction warning appear. In turn, this makes other safety features like the lane departure warning malfunction as well. This is a safety risk because first, the point of collision sensors is to minimize the risk of being in an accident. Second, if the sensors are corroding or have issues it can cause a fire or damage other aspects of the vehicle. I payed for multiple reports of the car. I assumed it was in an accident and the dealership did not disclose it. As the issue becomes more persistent it is clear that is what the car does. Malfunction.

Warnings problem #3

My car has suddenly slammed brea while driving on empty road at nigh as if I was going to crash but there has been nothing there it has been on empty road but it has completely slammed te breaks on it’s own I have been lucky that I don’t have any cars behind me or they would crash behind me last time I was alone but this time I was with my girlfriend my car slammed the breaks so hard that she ended up slamming her face on the dashboard I need answeres on this because I’m starting to get scared of driving this car if it keeps doing that.

Warnings problem #4

On multiple occasions while driving, at traffic lights or stop signs, a light will come on the dashboard with a symbols including: place the key near the start switch --even though the car is already on and running; and other times the car will not start at all with the key next to the start switch; lower tire pressure - although the tires when check are not low at all; low fuel gauge -although I would have just put gas in the car; a phone number from a person that I already hung up from as still an on-going telephone call; forward collison sensor; rear auto breaking symbol; abs symbol, car crash symbol, warning symbol and words; master warning symbol and words, system malfunction, I took the car two both universal Nissan dealership where I bought the car and glendale Nissan dealership after the lights came on - they always said, the dashboard lights do not come on when I leave my car with them---they cannot duplicate my concern, however they would always clear out pass codes in the car computer systems, which indicates and verifies that the dashboard light was on and which symbol was displayed on the dashboard. No software update was ever offered to me, all things I complained about were consistently denied. Nothing was done to repair this electrical problem or glitch while my car was under warranty -prior to hitting 30,000;the drive car door will sometimes stick and will not open - I will have to exit on the passenger side. Universal Nissan car dealership lied and said I has body work done on the car and they charged me for checking the door. However a few months later glendale and carfax verified I had not ever had any body work done to this car! its cost me to miss work at uber (which is my main income!) for 45 days and have many anxiety attacks. I am paying for a car that is malfunctioning regularly (for nearly 2 years now from brand new at 8 miles -to 50,000), Nissan headquarters will not repair, replace or buy it back. Nissan 2022 Sentra is a scam!.
