Unable to see anything clearly in reverse camera everything is blurry and out focus. Cannot tell if a car or person walks by. Have to get out of vehicle to make sure surroundings are safe.
The adhesive on 3 of the rear parking sensors failed and the brackets holding the sensors in place fell off into the inside of the bumper triggering the sensor to go off constantly when reversing and auto brake.

There are issues with the sensors. Specifically, the collision sensors. I have owned a 2022 Nissan Sentra for a few months now and multiple times have had the traction control malfunction warning, front collision sensor malfunction warning, and back collision sensor malfunction warning appear. In turn, this makes other safety features like the lane departure warning malfunction as well. This is a safety risk because first, the point of collision sensors is to minimize the risk of being in an accident. Second, if the sensors are corroding or have issues it can cause a fire or damage other aspects of the vehicle. I payed for multiple reports of the car. I assumed it was in an accident and the dealership did not disclose it. As the issue becomes more persistent it is clear that is what the car does. Malfunction.

My car has suddenly slammed brea while driving on empty road at nigh as if I was going to crash but there has been nothing there it has been on empty road but it has completely slammed te breaks on it’s own I have been lucky that I don’t have any cars behind me or they would crash behind me last time I was alone but this time I was with my girlfriend my car slammed the breaks so hard that she ended up slamming her face on the dashboard I need answeres on this because I’m starting to get scared of driving this car if it keeps doing that.
I have noticed that there was false alarms coming out of the forward collision warning system and the automatic rear parking warning system. When I was driving down a road, there was a person walking on the sidewalk not near the actual road itself. My car thought that I was going to hit that person and sounded the warning. For the rear, when I was reversing out of my driveway, the rear parking warning sounded and the automatic breaking came into effect. The car thought I was going to hit the ground, although I had enough clearance. I believe the automatic breaking system for the rear and front is defective and needs more work. I used to own a 2021 Nissan Sentra, same features and I never had these kinds of false alarms as I have with my current 2023 Nissan Sentra.
While in reverse, my backup camera does not engage, instead it will display a blue scree or altered fuzzy incomplete image of what's behind me. While parking, parking collision warning will go off displaying a warning and sound with multiple beeps while my automatic emergency braking system will engage my brakes while reversing unexpectedly without obstacles in the way. This causes whiplash, panic, to the driver and sudden stops causing a hazard to other drivers while wearing out my braking system I've had to replace brake pads and roaders due to warping more frequently than normal function. While driving the forward collision warning will display a malfunction warning on my dash and sometimes engages my brakes unexpectedly with no object in front of me. This has led to sudden stops in the middle of the road causing other cars to slam their brakes so they don't rear-end me. I have reported this to a local mechanic while we replaced my shocks, he stated there was wires loose and he secured them causing my backup camera to work for a short time after. It soon went back to being a blue screen or having an altered fuzzy image when reversing. These has been a reoccurring issue but I am in germany so I have yet to find a dealership willing to inspect the vehicle. I believe the first issues started in March 2024 after I purchased the car from a friend.

For the past two years, an emergency brake has been activated when an object, such as a car, is close to my front bumper. This is excellent, but occasionally the sensor activates when nothing is in front of me, which is risky and causes my brake pads to wear out more quickly than they should. When I took this up with the Nissan dealer two years ago, they claimed to have rectified it, but they didn't. When I went to another dealership because I was dissatisfied with the service at the prior, I brought up the issue and asked if they could turn off this feature. They said that there wasn't much they could do. They gave it a test drive and found nothing, but since this only occasionally occurs, it is difficult to keep track of it without keeping the car for several weeks, which I cannot afford to do. This seems recall worthy.

Car was on. The original, rear camera display screen, was fully functional when the vehicle was put in reverse previously. The rear camera was always functional/ this is the first time I’ve seen this occur. The car was put in reverse but this time the rear camera screen was completely blue. I put the car in park, waited a few seconds, and then put it back in reverse; only to have the same result. I came out of the car, opened the trunk, and closed the trunk. When I went back into the car, the rear camera was showing on the screen. I made a video as well.
Nine statements: 1. The radio in the car is failing. It comes on and immediately turns off. 2. The radio showed the rear image and sensors upon reverse. Now neither of those works. It could cause a rear impact upon parking or a person quickly crossing behind the car. 3. The problem has been reported to the dealer, documented, and confirmed by the Nissan dealer on October 2nd, 2023 at Nissan servicing dept - 1919 central park avenue, yonkers, NY 10710. The attendant who I worked with was daniel ramroop and confirmed situation @ 1pm est. 4. No, the vehicle was not in an accident so there is no police, insurance, or other representative report. 5. There were no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure 6. About a year and brought it in for checking last week when I received the recall notice to bring the car in for curing the recall. The service department said that if electrical issues related to the stop lamp switch recall caused the failure, that they could look at both the same time. 7. In their review, they stated that it was not caused by the stop lamp and do not have an explanation for why the radio failed. 8. I have attached the work order and the review of the rear camera, radio, and rear sensors 9. There were 26 NHTSA complaints as of March 2023 exist for the Nissan’s electrical issues concerning the radio but no recall or known repair is associated with the radio.

On multiple occasions while driving, at traffic lights or stop signs, a light will come on the dashboard with a symbols including: place the key near the start switch --even though the car is already on and running; and other times the car will not start at all with the key next to the start switch; lower tire pressure - although the tires when check are not low at all; low fuel gauge -although I would have just put gas in the car; a phone number from a person that I already hung up from as still an on-going telephone call; forward collison sensor; rear auto breaking symbol; abs symbol, car crash symbol, warning symbol and words; master warning symbol and words, system malfunction, I took the car two both universal Nissan dealership where I bought the car and glendale Nissan dealership after the lights came on - they always said, the dashboard lights do not come on when I leave my car with them---they cannot duplicate my concern, however they would always clear out pass codes in the car computer systems, which indicates and verifies that the dashboard light was on and which symbol was displayed on the dashboard. No software update was ever offered to me, all things I complained about were consistently denied. Nothing was done to repair this electrical problem or glitch while my car was under warranty -prior to hitting 30,000;the drive car door will sometimes stick and will not open - I will have to exit on the passenger side. Universal Nissan car dealership lied and said I has body work done on the car and they charged me for checking the door. However a few months later glendale and carfax verified I had not ever had any body work done to this car! its cost me to miss work at uber (which is my main income!) for 45 days and have many anxiety attacks. I am paying for a car that is malfunctioning regularly (for nearly 2 years now from brand new at 8 miles -to 50,000), Nissan headquarters will not repair, replace or buy it back. Nissan 2022 Sentra is a scam!.
