My 2004 Nissan Titan truck leaks on the floorboard when it rains this happens on the passenger side. Electrical wiring is laying in a puddle of water. Water also pours out of the doors. The entire interior of the vehicle is covered in mold and now rust has appeared. This includes carpet, seats, steering wheel and more. Front right wheel is also rusted. Due to the water problems there is condensation on the windshield which makes visibility poor. Attempts made by the dealership to fix this problem has failed.
Water leaks into cab cause mold to grow and truck to smell. Two members of our family have gotten sick from the mold. Truck has been in several times for repair but it never fixes the problem and the mold in the air conditioning will not go away.
Can not read computer-generated information in daylight, cloudy or otherwise. Includes gear indicator, tow mode, mileage, air conditioning, etc. Had an army lt. Col. On his knees trying to read the gauges as we were driving through las vegas, nv. Prior to this trip out west, all of my driving had been local and infrequent (I use a more economical car for in-town/local driving), and the speedometer is not computer generated. This is unsafe and I do not wish to be killed trying to see the dash instruments. I have driven with the rheostat turned all the way up, with no effect/benefit. I bought this truck to tow my trailer and travel. I am unsafe during daylight and towing a trailer at night is not acceptable nor practical. I called the manufacturer (Nissan) who directed me to take the vehicle to my local dealer (jenkins in lakeland, FL). While the head of service (mr. Dunkin) agreed he could not read the information on a cloudy day, his only advice was to turn the rheostat all the way up, which was already done. He said nothing could be done. Did not give me any paperwork to prove I was there. Condition is on-going and is very dangerous. A person could easily take full attention off of driving to try to read the gauges. This could and would cause accidents. The number of failures is every time I drive in daylight.
Water leaks inside of truck through the fire wall. A/c drain hose fix was done but it still leaks water. Dealership is unable to repair. Water inside of truck caused mold to grow in the carpet and spores into the hvac system. This caused two people to have to go to the doctor for difficulty breathing. This is an ongoing problem for 1 1/2 years.
1) dash rattles in several places when weather is below 60 degrees f. 2) stearing wheel clicks when driving at speeds above 50 mph. 3) engine no longer sounds like it did when purchased. It knocks. 4) transmission clicks every time I stop the truck. I have an arbitration hearing thru the state of georgia lemon law in July.
