1 Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problem

Failure Date: 11/02/2019

This truck is a diesel. Every time it goes into regen the cab of the truck will fill with exhaust smoke and fumes. It's so bad it will make you feel sick, and get a headache. I feel it's only more noticeable in regen but the problem is always present, due to the fact that when it sits idle eq. Waiting for wife in store that I will get a bad headache. I did not connect the two issues but it is more apparent when in regen due to a larger amount of exhaust being produced. This is a dangerous situation, I have been told by Nissan (2 different dealers it's normal and not dangerous) there is a case on file with Nissan motors regarding this problem. And I am aware of many people having the vehicle re-purchased by Nissan for this exact problem. I really like my truck, it has had some issues that have for the most part been resolved, but this is a health and dangerous situation that needs to be resolved. Since when is any amount of vehicle exhaust entering the vehicle ok? poor tail pipe design?.
