I purchased my Nissan Titan in Jan of 2006, and since then have been plagued by repairs and maintenance. The most recent and most annoying has been the front brakes. Over the course of a few weeks, my truck would start to shudder violently when I applied the brakes. Upon having the problem serviced I was told that the front rotors were warped to the point of failure. The entire front brake system was replaced at no cost to me.

I have taken my truck in twice now for the brakes and the carpet being soaking wet from the truck leaking somewhereand the passenger airbag light not turning off. They resurfaced my brakes and said the leak was from the a/c. They also told us about the brake problem with the 2004 Titans and that they would put us on a waiting list for the replacement parts. We are now taking it in again for the same problems. The floor is soaking wet and we have not ran the a/c. The brakes are shaking violently again, and not to mention the new problem of the cargo light turning on by itself when it is parked. I only have about 8300 miles on my truck and I only drive 5 miles one way to work. These are major problems that are occuring in such short time of having the truck.

Mostly highway driving since new. Current milage 4,700 miles. At about 4000 miles extreme shudder and vibration in steering and brake pedal when brakes applied at speeds above 20 miles per hour. Suspect front brake rotors are warped.
When brakes are applied the steering wheel shakes, and the brake pulse. The problem first occured three months ago at 7000 miles. Then again at 10000mile. Both times the Nissan dealer turned the rotors. May 27, 2005. Nissan Titan 2004 se crew cab.
I purchased a 2005 Titan 4 door 2 months ago. At approx. 3000 miles it began to shake violently when the brakes are applied at any speed. I called the dealership, who affirmed that this was a known defect prior to my purchase, and that I could bring it in for a temporary fix. They exclamed that this was not a safety issue. I strongly disagree with their claim, and am very disappointed by their lack of responsibility concerning this matter.
Front brake pads, and rotors, are being redone again, at 11700 miles. This was done before at around 7000-800 miles. I am worried, that they will go out again, and that I will have to replace them again in another 10000 miles, and I will then have to pay for them, especially if this is a known problem.
