Wiper Problems of Nissan Titan

Passenger side window has came off track and fell into door panel. There is no way to open door to get to window to put back on track to raise window.

Tl- the contact owns a 2005 Nissan Titan. The contact stated while driving 65 mph, when the sunroof disconnect and flew off the vehicle. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. After rain storms I noticed water on the rear passenger seat after delivery of vehicle to dealership they determined the rear window seal to be faulty and they brought the vehicle in for warranty repair. The vehicle was bought at and repaired at benton Nissan of oxford, alabama.

The air condtioning door actuators commonly go out causing the system to not be able to perform the duty of defrosting the windshield. Effected actuators are both the temperature control and air flow control. The problem has effected all Nissan Titans 2004-2015 however a recall has only been issued to 2009 year and newer Titans.

Windshield washer motor stopped working. Now when the road conditions are bad the visibility is drastically lowered. The more I research this problem and the one with the air conditioner not shutting off the more I notice that these are wide spread and very common issues.

Poor defroster performance on drivers side windshield at all times due to actuator failure. Part cost less than $35. 00 shop labor quoted $1,300. 00. Few owners can afford the repair. Poor design of actuator.

The heater failed to work. On cold frosty mornings, I could not use my front window defroster because it failed to blow hot air. This could cause an accident because a driver cannot see out a frosted window. The water valve that controls movement of hot engine coolant into the heater core needed replaced to work properly. The service technician admitted that he has a to replace many of these electronic water valves. It sounds like there might be a nationwide problem with electronic water valves failing.

Overhead console plastic becomes too brittle to support weight of console causing mount points to break allowing console to swing down. My console nearly hit me in side of the head. This cause view to be obstructed and could easily hit driver. Upon researching this for repair I found many other having the same issue. My guess is an inferior batch of plastic in the 08 lineup.

The dealer confirmed the electric condenser for the air conditioner unit and defrost needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was not contacted and the vehicle was not repaired.
