Vehicle was left idling in driveway. After a few minutes a passerby knocked on home door to advise car was on fire. Fire dept responded but fire smothered. Insurance claim was filed. Value of claim did not warrant hiring origin and cause expert however photos seem to show fire originating in left rear interior possibly in headliner near c pillar. Damage suggest wiring defect. Vehicle had no history of collision damage. Vehicle had no history of wiring repair.
