Wheel Cover/hubcaps problems of the 2008 Nissan Versa

1 Wheel Cover/hubcaps problem

Failure Date: 10/17/2008

The contact owns a 2008 Nissan Versa. The contact stated that the hubcaps were only removed by the dealer when the tires were rotated. While driving 70 mph, the rear driver's side hubcap came off. He approached the dealer for assistance and they refused to replace the tire; therefore, the contact replaced it at his own expense. The dealer once again rotated the tires and the front passenger side hubcap came off. The dealer once again refused to assist him. The contact wrote letters to the dealer, but they would not assist, including the manufacturer. The dealer later offered him one hubcap as compensation. 2 Wheel Cover/hubcaps problem

Failure Date: 11/12/2007

2008 Nissan Versa back passenger hub cap on tire has come off twice and I have notified dealer of this problem and they said they have not had any complaints on this. I have seen at least 5 other cars with missing hup cap and I do see this as a problem. The dealer wants me to keep purchasing hub caps.
