There is a recall regarding my airbags #b2tp-3vl and Nissan refuses to provide me with a loaner vehicle. My recall notice says that they have to provide me with a loaner vehicle. Italked to the dealer and to the Nissan corporate office and nobody will help. I cannot afford to take time off of work nor spend my day off at the car dealership as I watch my grandchildren over the weekends.
The front airbag is not functioning properly. Because of the steering I almost had an accident, my wheel didn't want to turn. The brakes always make noise.
I received a recall card in the mail instructed me to take my car to Nissan because of the airbag malfunction in the airbag which could cause death and the light continue to stay on I took my car there they never fixed it they said they did but it was never fixed I still have the same problem and as of today I'm still having the same problem I took my car they are in 2017 or 2018 when I got the card when I was instructed to take the car to the Nissan dealership I did call that dealership back which was quite cooley in duncan ville texas the ones that was supposed to fix it I'll call the service center and they kept giving me the runaround I did report that it wasn't fixed nobody did anything as of today they still haven't done anything I'm still driving with my car with the recalls still on my car and I am very much concerned about it I just want my car fixed ASAP please this problem is still on going before I got the recall and after I got the recall and after they were supposed to have fixed it which they did not today's date is December 9, 2019.
My car had a r1709 recall. This was to fix the airbags. I took it to my local Nissan dealership to had the repair done. The waiting time I was told would be about 1 or 2 hours. It took about 5 hours and I was told it was because a new inexperienced mechanic was working on it. When I got my car back the lights telling me there is something wrong with the airbags were still blinking. I had no time to go back since they had just wasted all the time I had. The very next day I realized that now my car's horn doesn't work either. This was never a problem before. I called to tell them I believe they may have messed up the work they were supposed to do. They simply told me they did the work they had to and that if my car has additional issues it's not their problem. I even told them I find it hard to believe that all the car's airbags are failing at the same time and that now the horn doesn't make any sound right after I took it to get it fixed. I believe they did the wrong work on it which might explain why they took far longer than they were supposed to. They gave me no solution so I had to make a case with Nissan corporate. The only solution I was given by corporate was to take it back to the same repair shop and they will check it, however I will be charged for this, unless they find it was their error. I think its pretty obvious what they are going to say, so there is no way I can take it back to the same place that possibly screwed up in the first place so they can charge me to tell me they did a fine job. What I need is someone to check my car to see if they did the job they were actually supposed to do and not get charged for it.
I we t to have the safety recall fixed but the dealership said that someone had altered the harness for the airbag, it was the first id heard of it. They said id have to buy a brand new harness for the vehicle for over a thousand dollars , so I didn't get the recall fixed. Went to the place I bought the car and they said they weren't liable for it either. Just want to get those airbags out of my car.
The car was in a low speed accident under 30 mph on the 14th street bridge in washington d. C. And the entire front of the cars was crushed. The other vehicle in the crash had minor damage to the rear consistent with the speed of the vehicles. Also, the air bags deployed late, several seconds after the crash when the occupants were getting out of the vehicle when the vehicle was stationary.
Takata recall - air bag parts still listed as unavailable from original July 2017 recall.
Takata recall we live on the coast was there is a lot of moist.
"takata recall" buy my auto used on March 31 of this year in a dealer. On the panel the light of the airbags on and off all the time the time. The seller indicated that I had a recall but Nissan send me a letter explaining the recall and where I had to take to correct the problem. I have not received anything and the VIN does not appear included in the recall for that model and year. On August 21 I recorded and filled the file to vehicle safety complaint but I have also received an answer. I am very concerned with this situation, that a mistake may occur and that afternoon to take action. I hope your response, thank you.
The light on the board of the air bags turns on and off in red at all times when it is on. Buy the car a distributor on March 31 and I made a withdrawal for a defect in the air bags Nissan communicates with me for a replacement but it has not happened. I am very concerned about safety when using the vehicle.
Pleace help Nissan mo respond my call.
My auto is disabled. Key doesn't turn, the wheels are locked up and noticed that there is hesitation when shifting made a nose. I can't drive my auto at all. I am still responsible for the payments on the vehicle. It doesn't seem like a regular wear and tear issue.
Steering column locked up key wouldn't unlock so I could drive. Steering wheel just wouldn't unlock. Had to have my car towed.
Takata recall.

The contact called jim bone Nissan (1275 santa rosa avenue, santa rosa, CA 95404; 707-545-7050) and was informed that the parts should be available around April of 2018. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
Takata recall - I contacted the local dealer and they said that Nissan isn't providing a replacement airbag until at least March or April of 2018. My college student drives this car in florida where she goes to school it's humid in florida and the information I've read states humidity can cause the airbag to deploy. Waiting for a replacement for 3-4 months isn't sufficient.

Takata recall I have tried calling the closest Nissan dealership where I have taken my Nissan Versa before for a recall part, to make an appointment with them to replace the airbag and they keep sending me to different departments of the car dealership. I think I'm getting the run-around? instead of them telling me they don't have the part yet they seem like they are not going to honor replacing my airbag. Thank you, melanie.
Takata recall. I have received notices of this, but was told by the Nissan dealer that they do not have the parts needed to fix the problem.
Takata recall. My airbags have been recalled !! I am very concerned and Toyota has no airbags available!!!.
Takata recall I received the manufacturer recall dated March 6, 2017 for the airbags (NHTSA recall number 17v-144, manufacturer recall number r1709), but as of today, November 7, 2017, it still has not been repaired by Nissan dealer, they keep saying that they don't have parts available.
I am referring to chapter 11 case no. 17-11375(bls).
(jft - dealer info inadequate) tl takata recall. The contact owns a 2012 Nissan Versa. The contact stated that the recall notice for NHTSA campaign number: 17v449000 (air bags) was received in November of 2017. After contacting the dealer (Nissan of turnersville new jersey) and the manufacturer on multiple occasions, the contact was informed that the parts needed for the recall remedy were still not available and no estimated time for receiving the parts could be provided. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
Tamara recall. I called don williamson Nissan here in jacksonville nc 28540. The guys said there is a recall but I will have to wait till I get a second notice next year in April 2018 to see when it will be able to be fixed. Because they do not have the parts.
Takata recall - received notification of airbag recall and am told that getting long term rental car is the best option as the "fix" is not available until spring 2018. This is not a good option however as you have to pay the long term rental insurance rate of over 11/day. That's more than 300/month! the consumer should not be responsible for costs such as these on a life and death safety recall. Best scenario is that they just even trade all the cars for comparable safe vehicles as the passenger air bags were just recalled this year as well. Obviously not a safe or well built vehicle. No help from either the dealer or Nissan direct. They are unwilling to help in anyway and just say that the parts will be available next spring.
The parts won't be made available for months. The Nissan north America notice states that a complimentary loaner vehicle will be provided upon request. Some dealerships honor this, other dealerships are not. Getting a loaner vehicle for 6 months is very difficult! Nissan north America needs to be more proactive in order to ensure safety by informing their sites to offer loaners and making loaners available. I was told to keep driving my car as there is nothing they can do for me at Nissan of st. Charles, in st. Charles, IL while mcgrath Nissan in elgin IL said that they are taking a list of people that want loaner vehicles while they await the availability of loaners. That there is no danger of random deployment of the airbag and it is only if you get in a front end accident. They said Nissan has offered an added safety in that they provide a loaner, but this information was only given after I pushed the issue. In kenosha WI, they are stating that the airbag can randomly deploy and is extremely dangerous and should not be driven at all. Kenosha WI said that some vehicles went down a production line that had the defective airbags while other vehicles got a different airbag. My mother also drives a Versa and was told that her's did not have the defective airbag even though she received the recall notice. Nissan st. Charles said that if you received the notice, you have the defective part. Why is there so much conflicting information????.
Takata recall - Nissan dealer in glendale heights repeatedly states that they will call me "when the part is in" it has been over six months.
