My car keeps having sensors go out. Such as the tire pressure sensor and fuel compression sensor I think is what they called it anyways. They start to go up a hill. And my car loses all speed and slows way down my traction control. Don't turn on when it's supposed to. And needs to my cruise control, quit working when this went out. And my engines started sounding louder, which is weird because it's the one variable transmission. I love this car. I really. I'm tired of replacing sensors, though. Why do they keep going out? I kind of need those sensors to keep the carving good and the tire sensor lets me know if my tires are going flat or not. And I don't know now. I have to constantly be checking my tires with it. Pressure gauge also may I ask how to find out value? I found out the carla. I'm buying this from has charged me 3 times more than it's claimed value that carmax says it's worth which honestly I love this car so much? it really doesn't bother me that they did. But at the same time, I'm having to spend all this money getting it fixed. Because things keep going out. Online it says that it's only worth maybe 6000 I'm paying almost 15000 plus I've paid out a pucket quite a bit and on top of that it has a warranty but I'm still having to replace things that are kind of strange to be going out. You've repeatedly what could be causing this to happen over and over.
I carry my family with me and in traffic the traction control light would come on and the car would loose power and not accelerate almost causing accidents I was told it was the speed sensors malfunctioning and the brakes would not work properly when trying to stop.

Air bag on driver side red airbag light blinking repaired coil needs replacing motor mouth broken front seat belt not locking car wasn't starting.
Horn issues horn isn't working car shuts off constantly multiple misfire codes reading permanent codes won't clear on code reader air bag light keeps blinking.
Upon purchasing my vehicle the frame bolt had rattled loose and the motor mounts were broke because of how hard the engine rattles.
My car jerks when driving and has a hard time moving forward after stopping.
2012 Nissan Versa having transmission problem. My mother and father were driving my vehicle and the car kept jerking lagged when changing gear. My mother was scared because she didn't know if the car was going to stop in the middle of the freeway or jerk when she pressed the gas. Nissan is well aware that it's cars have issues and they have extended warranties because of a lawsuit on some vehicles before 2012 but have not extended it for more recent vehicles which are having transmission problems. There is a class action law suit against Nissan regarding this and I have recently joined that lawsuit.
While driving this vehicle on a busy city street at 7:00 am the car suddenly stopped running and would not restart in the middle of a travel lane for no reason what so ever requiring a tow, with over half a tank of gas, and plenty of fluids all the way around. The car has been maintained so the engine should not have cut off like this.
Bad transmission, brakes, bearing wheels, etc. Car is parked is can't be use risky. When I bought the car it had five tamara recalls it was a risky car to drive, dealership didn't said a thing about it. Loss my money. Car was in a car dealership.
The car suddenly stopped while I was driving. I had no control of brakes or steering. It coasted to a stop. I contacted ktnv channel 13 investigative news and they filmed me and my story. The episode aired last night and today. I have two 2012 Versa's; the other one did not do this. They are my twins cars; I try to drive one every two weeks to make sure everything is ok. The vehicle was definitely in motion when this happened; had just exited the interstate.
The transmission don't know what gear to be in when driving. When at a stop it tries to move back and then tries to move forward with your foot on the brakes.
On 8 March 2017, my battery died and I had it replaced at tj automatics & services. I drove the car for a few days before going on vacation. On 21 March 2017, as I'm driving home on the far (fast) left lane, on I-85n, atlanta, GA. At approximately 3:30pm, the car shuts-down. I was able to coast over to the emergency lane without incident. I had the car towed to the above mentioned shop and they performed a diagnostic test that showed ecm no communication. They replaced a maxi fuse 20a and reprogramed key. On 23 March 2017, I pick up the car from the shop, drove about 5 miles and car shuts-down again. As of 9 April 2017, the car is still in the shop. They can not figure out what is causing this issue.
The contact owns a 2012 Nissan Versa. The contact stated that while driving at 50 mph, the transmission hesitated between shifting and the engine rpms revved. The transmission would shift gears violently causing the vehicle to jerk. The contact mentioned that the failure was getting progressively worst. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 68,000.
I was driving my vehicle on the freeway in the middle of traffic and it began to jerk and then turned off completely. Luckily I had my brother with me to push it to the side of the road I called a tow truck and was waiting and I attempted to turn on the vehicle it turned back on and drove off the freeway then I thought maybe I had done something wrong because it was back to normal and no engine light was on or nothing but later on in the week I was at a stop light and it happens again and so I called a tow truck and they said it was going to be 45min until someone came so I waited and then like 10minutes after I tried to turn the vehicle on and it turned on like normal. . . So that has been happening and also my engine light keeps turning off and on.
The car jerks , bucks, speeds up really fast, stop out of no where, scrub the ground once you push on break then immediately jolts out of no where, and when coming to a stop when pushing on gas it goes back instead of forward.
I pulled up to a pump at a gas station, got out and went in the store to get a drink. Came back out and my car had locked up. The steering and brakes were both locked. Thank god I wasn't in motion when this happened. The car would not accelerate. I cut the car off and let it sit there before trying to start it again. It cranks but never turns over. There is a battery light, brake light, ps light and oil light on the dash. I researched it and everything indicated a bad alternator. I bought a Nissan alternator and put it on. Still never turned over. The fuel pump runs and I put some starting fluid into the throttle body and it started but died after a five seconds. Every Nissan dealership tells me they don't know what the problem is. Its my only car, I'm flat broke and I am walking 2 hours to work every day so I don't lose my job. I need to know what's wrong.
The engine light is on. There is hesitation between 20-30 mph. I had a diagnostic test performed and was told: system: transmission, part number: 31036-3aa6b, dtc: p0740, detailed info: torque converter.
I bought a new Nissan Versa 2012 3 years back. It has only 50,000 miles. The vehicle jerks when I shift from 'r" to "d:. The ses light comes on frequently with code p0705. The dealership updated software and adjusted range switch. The problem persists. Now the dealership says there is a short-circuit near tail light. Nissan refuses to fix the problem. The car is used for normal commute and was not in any accident. The car sometime jerks/skids even in normal drive. According to the dealer it loses power due to short-circuit. I complained to Nissan, north America and they refuse to fix it.
The contact owns a 2012 Nissan Versa. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to accelerate. Once the vehicle accelerated, there was an increase in engine rpms. While driving at about 35 miles per hour an p0101 obdii code was triggered. Code was verified with a autoxray codescout 2500 obdii code reader. Code was cleared. One month later while driving at 25 miles per hour an additional p0101 obddii code was triggered. Again code was verified with same model code reader. Code was cleared and the mass air flow sensor was replaced with an aftermarket delphi sensor part# af10141 by a independent car mechanic. Mileage was 52300 at sensor change. Over the lifetime of the vehicle numerous complaints were made to Nissan dealership mechanics at van nuys Nissan of rough idle at speeds below 40 miles per hour and in stop and go traffic. Vehicle would not accelerate smoothly at low speeds when purchased. Dealership would not investigate or resolve issue. Replacement of mass air flow sensor corrected condition.
The contact owns a 2012 Nissan Versa. While driving on the freeway at approximately 60 mph, the rpm gauge increased abnormally to approximately 4,000-5,000 and the vehicle jerked. In addition, while idling at a stop light, the rpm gauge increased to 4,000 before the vehicle became operable again. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the failure could not be replicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 69,670.
Driving home from grocery store during daylight hours, engine check light came on. I went to meineke to have code determined. Store manager checked my car for code, he found code is 007 and it will cost me over $400 to repair. I should not drive the auto until it gets repaired. This part should not be an issue with low mileage and age of vehicle! he said car will disable if I drive it because it is dangerous if it disables while driving! I have drs appts to go to and cannot be without being able to drive it! is this a recall for this part? if I drive on the freeway and I diables, I will be in a dangerous situation and I have an 18 month old baby in her car seat if I get rear ended, she could be killed!.
Tl-the contact owns a 2012 Nissan Versa. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 mph, the gauges on the instrument panel all dropped to zero. January 2nd I was asked to jumpstart a vehicle in my driveway. Approximately 5 minutes later my Nissan Versa, with less than 33000 miles, caught on fire. The cables were hooked up correctly. Prior to this incident and at least three times, I had complained of a burning smell after highway driving. I was told by my insurance company, I should bring it to a Nissan dealer where a licensed Nissan mechanic could determine the cause of the fire. When the dealer neglected to do so, Nissan north America was called in to do an inspection. They completed their inspection and would not cover the expense or release the report to me or the Nissan dealer. They opted to keep the information undercover. I believe it is related to the recall on the shifter recall. This may have caused the torque converter to leak and the engine to catch on fire.

I am assuming it is was an electrical issue or some type of leak judging by the 250,000 Nissan vehicles recalled in 2012.
On sept 29th at or around 3:45pm my family and I were driving to a swim meet on highway 60 in mesa, az. About 5 miles into the trip I heard a hissing sound coming from the ac system and a minute later we had no ac pumping through. When I took it to the dealer that Monday (assuming it was covered by warranty) I was told a rock had hit the condenser in such a way that it caused the system to need repair and that was not covered. I asked if this was a common incident and was told it has occurred before. In fact it was a design flaw. The dealership was to charge 700. 00 plus. I was flabbergasted!!! my thoughts were if I was to pay to have this repaired-it could happen again and again and again. Much to expensive a repair to not have someone made aware that this is wrong!!! Nissan should have a protective screen in place (or something done)to avoid this in the future or warn consumers of this.
