My car was in park , when I got in and shut driver's door the airbags exploded hurting my eyes and neck. Still dealing with Nissan for 18 months and still not even looked at.
The seatbelt was able to easily become disengated by hardly touching the release. There was an auto accident that resulted in the paralysis and eventual death of the driver. The driver was t-boned while making a left turn on a green light at the intersection. The other driver was cited for excessive speed and failure to keep a proper lookout. It is our belief that his forearm brushed the release on the seatbelt and caused the seatbelt to discharge at the time of impact. I have a video better conveying this, but it is comprises too much data to upload on this form.
