Never had issues until now but I've been randomly having issues with my power steering locking up on me. It's a real dangerous safety hazard because one minute it's normal and drivable. Then I may get back in the car and it's locking up again. I don't have a regular power steering pump,because my car runs off electric power steering. I just really need help figuring out the source of this issue.
Takata recall key won't turn to start engine. Steering wheel is locked. Car was parked at gas pump. Pumped gas. Then key wouldn't turn. I wiggled and wiggled and jerk on steering. Finally it started. Then it did it again later that night. On Sunday I tried it again. Key will not turn to start. Steering is locked. Parked.
