Over the past 4 years I have delt with my 2014 Nissan Versa Note sv constantly stalling in the middle of the road. I have replaced the transmission, tcm, and brake light wiring harness. I have had the Nissan dealership assess my vehicle three different times for 3+ days. They have completed wiring diagnostics and determined that the brake light wiring harness is getting water into the wiring causing a short and blowing the #49 fuse under the hood that also operates the transmission cvt/tcm. Their solution was to replace the wiring harness. This was completed last week. It rained again the last couple days off and on. The fuse has blown again. This causes the vehicle to stall in the middle of the road. There is no advanced warning or messages that appear. The check engine light does not come on either. It is way too hot out for my new baby for the vehicle to stall and not be able to run. Cars begin honking and swerving around my vehicle. The vehicle has to be pushed out of the road. Fuse after fuse has been replaced. New light bulbs. New wiring harness and still the same outcome. Please help.

The approximate failure mileage was 71,000.
The break peddle will sink on its own. It has done this at a complete stop with the car off, on the highway, on city streets, in corners. It goes off seemingly at random. It has done this in summer and winter. It has done this since shortly after I got the car, but I'm going to enter today's date. I bought the car in 2018 in July.

My vehicle is shifting and revving it is buzzing and it shakes while in motion it takes time to change the speed.
Diagnosed that the evaporator core and expansion valve needs repair. Mechanic stated this is not due to wear and tear. It is a manufacturer problem in the way the car was made.
When stopping at a traffic light or a stop sign, the car wants to move forward excessively. I have to push the breaks hard to make it stop. Looks like the car wants to continue moving forward on the second gear. Sometimes, I have to push it way harder to the end. Sure it will get worse. It could be way dangerous on highways with higher speeds.
First time vehicle had just started and steering and brakes were locked. Car was shut down and started again and it was ok. The second time vehicle was pulling out of a driveway into street and brakes and steering locked up. Emergency brake had to be used. My 18 year old daughter drives vehicle and I drive on freeway to work. If this were to happen on the freeway or anywhere in traffic serious injury may result. This model is known for faulty transmissions but not sure if this is related. I am taking it to dealer metro Nissan redlands, CA. On 8/24/19.
Tl the contact owns a 2016 Nissan Versa Note. On several occasions, while driving various speeds, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to respond. Additionally, on several occasions when the brake pedal was depressed, the stopping distance increased. The vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign number: 15v507000 (vehicle speed control, service brakes, hydraulic). The contact filed a complaint with the better business bureau to have the vehicle replaced due to the failures. The vehicle was replaced; however, the replacement vehicle also experienced similar failures. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was taken to Nissan of queens (located at 93-25 rockaway blvd, ozone park, NY 11417, (718) 835-8300) to be inspected, but no fault codes were found. The manufacturer was contacted. The failure mileage was 11,500. The VIN was not available.
About 3 months ago I was driving at about 35 miles per hour car in front stopped suddenly I applied brakes they grabbed then let go they failed and then today 5/23/2019 my family and I were leaving the parking lot of the local mall and the car stalled 2 times in the parking lot this car has 32000 miles on it.
When I step on the brake pedal for a street light or anywhere I need to use the break, my car makes a noise similar to a loose fan, and once I release the brake the noise stops.
"takata recall", due to unawareness of future issues since all "VIN" numbers have not been input into the recall system that may go pass the deadline plus brake issues(scrubbing as I drive/regular braking,"I don't ride the brake" ever but I drive daily whether on dry/clear road to wet roads less than 1 month post purchase having only 28,300 miles on it at purchase & still, continues today, after having it checked) for my 2014 Nissan versa that I've purchased less than 6 months ago, today, I'm severely concerned due to info mentioned on. . On December 12, 2016, buy the Nissan Versa Note, on January 7 2017 2. 30 pm, crash at 30 or 35 mph, brake, but only when I hit the other car, on February 28 I crash again in full stop 8 am to 20mph, haboa lot of traffic and I had a car of separation, they all advance and brake suddenly, no one crashed, only me that for more brake that I put no pair until finding the other, the service Nissan puerto rico says the brakes are well, but also this shock at 20mph broke mask, condenser, I double radiator focus, as if it were xe pastio. I feel my english because I had to use a translator, thank you.
Takata recall on air bags and brakes pad.
Nhtsa recall 15v-507. I've called nalley Nissan here in atlanta several times trying to schedule a service to have my car fixed and they refuse to call me back. They are the closest place near my work to have the car fixed and I am unsure what to do now.
Pulled into parking space, speed 2-3 mph. , car went into full acceleration, hit brakes as hard as possible, car jumped 10 foot parking divider, side- swiped lamp post, hit parked car in rear wheel area tearing off rear bumper,my car lurched to left and finally decelerated. Towed to premier Nissan of stevens creek santa clara, calif. Filed claim, awaiting inspection. Case no. 22964507.
The air bad did not deployed in time there was few second delay which caused my daughter to hit her head on steering wheel and then went off. Also the breaks she had delayed timing to hit the break like her foot was stuck or something which delayed stopping.
I rented a 2015 Nissan Versa Note from budget rental out of the prov ri airport on 1-12-16 to go to a wake & funeral. After leaving the wake and about 7:30pm not long after starting the vehicle and traveling 1/2 mile I lost both the ability to brake and steer, I wasn't going more than 10 mph . The vehicle lost control of both the steering and the brakes were hard and unresponsive. The vehicle crossed to other lane and slowly brushed against a telephone pole. I got out and didn't see any damage. I drove the vehicle apx 1. 5 miles to my brothers house and parked it for the night. The next morning I was leaving and noticed that there was a small dent on the fender so I was going to look at the pole 1. 5 miles away and backed the vehicle out of the driveway and started to pull forward and 12-15 feet going forward the steering and brakes would not work. I got out and saw that the wheels were both pointed in and after looking closer noticed that the left stering connector that was suppose to be engaged to the rack in pinion stering was not engaged and only the right front wheel would spin. I video taped the tire tracks that the vehicle traveled and that the wheels were both pointed in ( which couldn't have been driven 1. 5 miles from the accident) called budget rental, let them know , they dispatched tow driver and he and I winched the wheels so they could be placed on dolly for tow. I took pictures of tow driver. I informed budgets mechanic of wheel issue and he said he would have Nissan look at it. I felt justified that my account of the incidident was not in question. I then videoed the pole, tire tracks and the 1. 5 mile drive to my brothers home. Budget then sent my insurance CO a bill for the body work but failed to mention anything that supported my claim as to the steering. I have dvd's pictures and video pertinent supporting this claim. Please look into.
Tl-the contact owns a 2015 Nissan Versa Note. The contact stated while driving at 55 mph, the brake pedal was depressed and traveled to the floorboard. The vehicle was taken to a dealer but the failure was not determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 1,700. Djr.
As I was slowly coming to a stop at a light my brakes began to pulsate. They did not make any strange noises. I came to a complete stop and was waiting for the light to change when all of a sudden the brake pedal released slightly and I began to roll slowly forward, so I pressed harder on the brakes and stopped. This was a new car at the time so I thought perhaps I just didn't have my foot on the brake hard enough, although I knew the pulsating was not normal. Ever since this incident the pulsating brakes as I'm slowly coming to a stop happens intermittently. However, the brakes releasing while I'm at a stop happens often, especially when I run the air conditioner. I notice that when I'm at a stop and the air conditioner kicks on, the brakes will often release and I have to press down harder to keep the car from rolling forward. I have read similar complaints and I know the investigation regarding this issues has been closed, but I'm telling you, something is not right with the brakes in this car.
While using the air conditioning compressor (a/c, defroster) the car while at a stop, or while driving at slow speeds under 10 m. P. H. Will cause the car to surge forward unexpectedly. I can have my foot firmly pressing the brake pedal down, and can feel the vehicle struggling to move forward against me. Anyone with size 10 shoe and above (men) foot becomes trapped in accelerator area. Cruise control constantly fails to hold proper speeds, and varies from 10 mph + or - above intended speed while on a flat non incline surface.
Car surges forward after stopping. Its like the transmission has jumped forward. If your foot isn't firmly on the brake, it could hit a car in front. It does it almost all the time. Windshield washers aim very low, with no adjustment to raise them up.
While at a stop the brake peddle stills sinks lower to floor. Brakes making noise.
Making noise when stopping.
Engine ,brakes and shifter this is the correct VIN [xxx]. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
My vehicle, unless I'm an exerting more pressure than necessary on the brakes, will lurch forward when the air conditioner fan kicks on. If I'm not consciously paying attention to pressing hard on the brake, the car will start to drift forward even at a standstill. The brakes do not brake smoothly. It is not a gradual smooth stop, it feels like slamming on the brakes with every stop.
This was just a rental vehicle, but this problem was serious enough that I feel it necessary to report. There is a recessed well above the accelerator that traps your foot. Several times while driving this vehicle, I would attempt to pivot my foot on its heel off the accelerator over to the brake, only to find my foot trapped in the recessed space above the accelerator. I would then have to relax my foot and pull it back in order to release my foot and move over to the brake. This delayed braking time several times unless I was consciously paying attention to avoid getting my foot trapped. I wear a size 12. 5 shoe, but that's not inordinately large.
Just look at my recall on my vehicle and it had no repair at all.
