Three problems related to front seat head restraint have been reported for the 1996 Oldsmobile 88. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Insufficient leg room in passenger compartment, also headrest not tall enough to support tall people.
Head restraint design problems.
In the fully extended position the headrests offer no protection for the driver and passenger over 5feet and 5inches tall.
