One problem related to automatic transmission park/neutral start switch has been reported for the 1998 Oldsmobile 88. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle was in parked gear with the engine running in consumers garage, consumer left vehicle to go into house and upon returning found that the vehicle had jumped out of park and into reverse and crashed into garage door.
