Three problems related to brake electric antilock have been reported for the 1999 Oldsmobile 88. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
There is an unusual sound coming from front door when turning, and brakes lock up. Consumer states that transmission does not always engage when in reverse and forward after some stops.
While in stop and go traffic vehicle momentarily lost steering control and brakes for 5 or more second before control was restored, vehicle was taken to dealer for inspection, and informed consumer that nothing could be found.
Brakes fade constantly.
