Brake Electric Antilock Problems of Oldsmobile 88

Anti-lock braking system has failed 3 times. 1st time was 01-10-03. 2nd time was 04-11-03 and 3rd time was 04-21-03. Ist time resulted in accident and last 2 times I was able to get off highway before rear ending the car in front of me. I will enter the last time this happened.

Anti- lock braking system has failed 3 times resulting in one accident. I had it checked out and nothing can be found with wrong with the system.

Vehicle stalls intermittently when applying brakes, dealer has serviced vehicle and replaced valves in the exhaust, however problem reoccurred.

There is an unusual sound coming from front door when turning, and brakes lock up. Consumer states that transmission does not always engage when in reverse and forward after some stops.

While in stop and go traffic vehicle momentarily lost steering control and brakes for 5 or more second before control was restored, vehicle was taken to dealer for inspection, and informed consumer that nothing could be found.

Abs braking system malfunctioned, causing extended stopping distance which may cause a crash. Dealer cannot determine cause of the problem.

Was entering into his garage, going about 5mph and brakes wouldn't stop. The consumer stated that the car did damages.

While driving applied the brakes and the brakes started slipping which did not allow the vehicle to stop. Dealer cannot find the problem. This slipping of the brakes caused the owner to have an accident.

When pressing the brake pedal, a delay is experienced before it begins to brake. Brakes locked up twice.

Many problems with the 88- anti-lock brake replacement transmission control box replacement and now the car has a shaking problem that dealer cannot figure out with 54000 miles it is on it's 5th set of tires and numerious computer balancing's and cannot find the problem the are has had rotors turned, wheel bearings replaced. Axels and rod's checked into but dealer says they don't know what is causing it and has given up!!! please help thanks( dot number: ).

Brakes fade constantly.
