Two problems related to front seat recliner have been reported for the 1999 Oldsmobile Alero. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Passenger's seat won't lock in place. Cunsumer is concerned that in case of a collision the occupant in the seat will plunge forward into the window because the seat not secure.
Right front seat latch does not lock immediately when moved.
