The contact owned a 2002 Oldsmobile Alero. While driving approximately 20 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning and caused the contact to crash into the rear of another vehicle. 2 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 05/21/2007

The contact owns a 2002 Oldsmobile Alero. On may 21, 2007, the contact crashed into a tree while driving 35 mph. The air bags failed to deploy. The passenger suffered a severe head injury and received seven stitches. The driver's chest and back were bruised. The weather was not a factor. The vehicle was destroyed and is currently in the contact's garage. A police report was filed. The VIN, engine size, and # of cylinders were unavailable. 3 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

During a 55 mph collision front air bags did not deploy. Consumer pulled over, and the vehicle was towed to the dealership, who did not resolve the problem.

Failure Date: 07/19/2003

Consumer stated tha t vehicle was hit from the rear, causing consumer's vehicle to hit another vehicle from the rear. Upon impact, both front air bags did not deploy. Dealer notified.

5 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 01/25/2003

While driving a rental vehicle at 52 mph, the vehicle hit a snow drift, rolled over and went off the road, then rolled 60 ft. Down an embankment. Driver came out of the seat belt without it disconnecting and the driver's air bag did not deploy.
