Accelerator Pedal problem #1

While slowing down consumer heard a grinding noise before brakes were applied. Then, when the accelerator pedal was depressed from the complete stop position vehicle rolled backwards, like it was in reverse gear. This was caused by transmission failure .

Cruise Control problem #2

After engaging cruise control on the highway, vehicle would not disengage from cruise control and/or continued with the accelerator stuck. The vehicle came to a stop after hitting another vehicle and being turned off. When trying to turn the vehicle on again (in park) the accelerator raced and could not be driven.
