Two problems related to mechanical jack have been reported for the 1999 Oldsmobile Aurora. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer was turning the jack crank to extend the jack, it twisted and failed at the crimp joint causing the vehicle to fall to the ground. Scc.
Consumer had a punctured tire. Using the jack provided with the vehicle, consumer started to change the tire. The jack gave way at the crimped points and the vehicle fell to the ground. Ph.
